How Do You Clean Your Jars Between Harvests?

Im curious because i havent done anything to clean them for about 5 harvests now and theyre develping a nice candy coating. any ideas or methods for harvesting these trichs?

Pour your favorite spirit in it. You can seal them(leave an inch gap for breather room) and warm them in water to activate the THC, then have yourself some green dragon.

Or just scrape all the keif off the inside of the jars this reminds me i need to do the same i got some candy coated jars as well

this is what i was thinking, it just seems like a monotonous task. maybe ill wait till i cant see through them, them just smoke the jar!

You could put the jar in the freezer to harden the sticky trichs up & then just lightly scrape the jar. This should work.

yeah, use a business card or a playing card or something like that.

wont it get condensation on it when you take it out of the freezer?

pour in some iso alchohol.....swirl around.....pour into pyrex dish....let iso evaporate....scrape up trichs.....

does iso evaporate 100%? ive just recently been playing with butane extraction but cant figure a way to use butane with he jars.

iso does evaporate 100%...but you will want to let sit for 2-3 days to be sure....about the same amount of time you would let butane extraction sit out....

not my BHO...i extract into a pyrex pan and then put that into a pot of hot water. the butane boils off in minutes, i can smoke it within an hour or two.

the topical boils off in minutes but it will still have butane in it..not enough to harm or explode but enough to still taste...if you leave your bho out on a dish over night when you come back there will be a bunch of tiny air pockets..this is the butane that is still inside the oil evaporating out...i make my oil the same way..extract into a glass bowl then place that bowl into a pan of room temp water to boil off the butane...but after experimenting a little i noticed that the longer i let it sit the cleaner it became.....

i usually let it sit out for several days and it gets hard, but i also usually smoke some a few hours after i make it. your right though, it does taste better the second day.
