how do you avoid getting caught by police

ive been reading up on a bunch of recent home grow arrests (even in legal states) to get an idea how cops work. It seems that the two primary ways people get caught is from the smell and/or police informant

what are other common ways of getting caught?
what are ways to prevent getting caught?
are there any books or articles available on the subject matter?

fuck it seems some of these cops are nothng more but thugs dressed in uniforms:

Idunno, just don't be dumb! keep hush and watch who you talk to and what you say in regards to your illegal activities.

tame light leakage, dont let it smell like dead skunk, dont let neighbors see you bringing gardening shit or lumber into the house, while not having an outdoor garden or tree house, always keep in touch with your neighbors, dont be a shut in, dont rent a place and never be there, keep your green activities to yourself, and never have people always showing up for periods, and dont let people you invite over go anywhere near it. CI= Confidential Informant, you wont know these people, could be your best friend from elementary school, could be one of your girls friends, people dont like people making money off o sitting around and growing dope all the time, fuck that makes me Jealous!!! stay under the radar and only buy illegal stuff online from confirmed places, and places that use a 3rd party to proccess c cards, as these places are hubs for a multitude of online banking. I stress the keeping in to yourself part, you and i might know hundreds of motherfuckers that grow, but they keep their fuckin mouth shut so as far as im concerned they dont exist. If youre the type thats easily paranoid i wouldnt do it, you must see it through, its a long process

great advice. i agree with it 100% but the one part of buying my shit online i wouldn't do. I'm sure it's safe and all but i would take a drive out of town to a hydro store and buy my shit with cash. that's it.

thats a combined cost of 500 bucks geez... thats a bit steep for me at the moment. Call me crazy but I was thinking about these odor eating light bulb things... use them instead of normal lights in my entire home. They are kinda like an ionic breeze and light bulb combined into 1 unit.

First of, grow an ultra low odor strain such as Northern Lights #5

Dont tell no one

Dont invite people over, especially in flower

Dont run 1000's of watts of power

Dont steal electricity

Buy odor removal equipment

Dont get drunk and start bragging about your op in a bar..lol!

Dont steal electricity

Dont use credit cards or debit cards in a hydro store or online when purchasing seeds or equipment..only cold cash or money order

Always use a remote proxy when using a forum

There's alot more, Ill edit if i can think of anything else :)

So if I got one of these badboys how do I mount the damn thing in my room? Do I need to suspend it from the ceiling or something? are these fans typically noisy?

As far as mounting, the higher up the better.

When they are elevated they also suck out the hot air.

They come with a mounting bracket, ... one bad thing about em', they are extremely heavy.

And if you think they remove all the smell.. think again..

Best thing to do is start off with a low odor strain. :)

go guy something small and cheaper from High tech gardening lile most new gardeners. Buy a fan filter combo and some decent lights. I cant wait until you see a nice garden store website if you dont know what a carbon filter is. Also all girls talk. They say they wont but they cant help themselves. My last gf told me "it was ok, cuz I was high". (that she told her other freinds). Also no parties or dealing or whatever that mught draw cops. Get legal. http://www.htgsupply.com/

The most important consideration is CFM rating. Each size of filter has a maximum (some have a minimum as well) CFM rating. You need to make sure your inline fan falls somewhere in between. Make sure to account for the amount of ducting and bends that you have. Most people can expect a 25% drop in CFM's due to friction loss from the bends and actual ducting itself. The air needs to be in contact with the activated carbon long enough to "scrub" the odor molecules from the air. If your fan has too many CFM's it will pull the air past the filter matrix too quickly and won't remove much of the odor. Too few CFM's and it won't adequately pull enough air past to make a difference. They don't get rid of all of the smell but they get rid of 90% or better under optimal conditions. Heat and high humidity reduce the life and effectiveness of these filters as well. If you use another form of odor control such as air fresheners, ionizers, ozone generators, ona gel or blocks, etc. you can usually knock out 99.9% of the smell. The fans can be pretty noisy but if you look around the forums there are threads which tell you how to deal with the noise. Best of luck my friend.:weed:
