I'm going to walk around the house imitating that little jig just to piss my wife off ROFL... 'Baby I've got withdrawals, I need help...'

I dont think it gives us a better sense of humor, more than we can see things clearly without the anxiety or emotion that would otherwise cloud our perception. One things for sure, it sure does make us better people , who arent afraid to look inside.
Psychopaths...err, pardon me...meant psychiatrists:bigjoint:once coined this term as a loss of inhibition.

In laymen's terms, simply means you speak your mind.:peace:

Well the above idea backfired on me quite badly. I went ahead and wobbled around doing my little jig claiming it's withdrawal etc. So what happened was my ten year old asking me what withdrawal is. EPIC FAIL. I managed it through the conversation quite well, just wasn't quite ready for THAT talk LOL.

usually i just smoke a lot of cigarettes, but this time i'm trying to quit those at the same time. i gotta smoke somethin so i've got myself an e-cig and have been firin up the hookah quite a bit lately. i'd smoke hookah a lot more often if sheesha wasn't so damn expensive..i'm sure i can find some for cheap online if i look around hard enough.

honestly though it isn't very difficult to stop. i'm up to around a month now and i'm finally sleeping well/keeping a positive mindset.

Ahhh the mood swings, It's even worse for me as I am bipolar. My brother and I will make sure we don't run out or else it is going to be a very stressful time for us.

the court gave me a free ride, didnt pay a dime. ate good food and played guitar and sports all day haha
You did pay for your stay....and so did we.......TAXES brother.......This is a perfect example of the "War On Drugs" being a HUGE waste of our hard earned taxes!

Nothing against you srh88, really.

How I cope when I am out of dope? I drink like a fish and get even more angry at the government than I already am. I hate to pay an "Alcohol Tax" when I can't even smoke cannabis legally. Pure bullshit.

Smoke em if ya gottem ~

Had to quit for 7 years working in the mines a few years back, way of life quickly adapts you to it whether you like it or not. Nowadays if I have to go without or it goes dry in my hood atleast I know it won't be seven years til I party with the girl again :) :weed:

All of the above. Drink way too much beer, lose my sense of humor, etc. The first 2-3 weeks I want to put my thumb in the eye socket of the first semi-rude person that crosses my path. Or just about anyone I don't like the looks of.

The worst part is knowing that I'm a jerk when sober for long periods, and a much better person when I smoke regularly. When I'm high I do things and learn things and make changes to my life, usually positive. I'm optimistic, I'm friendly, I can empathize, introspect, care about those around me. When I'm not smoking I make poor choices, treat people like shit, and generally don't even care.

Going without and not knowing when/if I'll get it again drives me nuts. Living in Colorado now with legal weed coming on Jan 1st is a huge light at the end of the tunnel. Just gotta wait a little over 2 more months.

Oh yeah, and I also get on RUI or other forums totally hammered drunk and post some crazy/embarrassing shit sometimes. That's always fun. I had to teach myself not to send mass emails to my family about crazy conspiracy theories or the evils of prohibition.

Recently decided to take a break after smoking daily for 18 months. It gets easier after the first 3 weeks. My partner (god bless her) took it all in her stride. Now after the dreams begin to subside life without weed gets easier and easier. I can even imagine long periods being 100% bearable without the weed. It helps to have hope growing in your back yard/spare bedroom though if you know what I mean. ;-)
