how do i top a clone?

can someone explain to me how to top a clone i dont know if its any diffrent that topping a plant from seed do i just cut above the two branches that are starting to grow? i can post a pic too

You top a clone, just like you'd top a plant grown from seed.

The only difference that I know of plants started from seed is the spacing of the nodes, Topping is the same.

yea the nodes are spaced a bit and i wasnt sure if that made a diffrence so just leave two nodes and cut the top?

Yep, just make sure you leave at least 1/8" of stem,(1/4" is better) above the node. If you cut too low, you could destroy the grow tip. It won't kill the plant if you do, it'll just force the side branches to take over and replace the main grow tip.
