How do I properly flip to 12/12

So i Have reached sufficient height and girth now i want to flip to 12/12. Should i Just set the timer, or should i give them the "dark" treatment, then flip. (24hrs darkness).

. . . .Also Should i be giving them a "pre"-flower nute. I have the technoflora line so they are fed, but is there an additional supplement to help induce the flowering?

should i have them 12/12 during the night? I have them 18/6 during the day. Does it matter (temperature wise)?

jus flip it...as for flowering nuts dont start untill they start to accually show flowering signs....then do half veg and half flowering for bout a week then for full flower

id just switch the lights, and not mess around with a day of darkness. if your having heat issues you can have the 12 hours of light at night when its cooler, but its not a big deal

now before you do switch to 12/12 you need to make sure your growspace has 0 light leaks

i'm good on light leaks and will flip tonight (no dark period). also i'll do a 50/50 mix of veg and flower nutes. Thanks.
