How do i lst or keep my plants small?

i need to know how to keep my plant small and bushy. i have 3 and a half feet of growth for verticle and about a foot of growth for width but i woul like to keep em small and bushy. idk the strain type so idk if it is indo or sativa yet but i need to find some illistrations on lst, and supercroping to keep them small. can anyone help?

get indicas. top them, if u use small pots, they wont grow big, and try using the scrog method. once u put them in flower, they'll at least grow twice in size. DONT GET SATIVAS, they'll out grow that room

yea but how about would i do that? so would i just snip the first growth after the second set of leaves first starts to form for toping? and how early from seedling can i do this? and do i jus tie down the top of the plant to the side of the pot that it grows in? i really need help and ive have searched around and still cant get the concept. does anybody have some pictures on how do do this?
sorry for the questions just want to keem my plants bushy and small.

lst aka low stress training,google it for more info.i just wait till my plant gets a lil big in either veg stage or flowing and tie down the main stalk and tall branches.i do so to my liking.keeping them to the height i like.
