If u ever get serious about this shit man u can hit my gro up at anytime with any problems u may be havin. I don't know it all but I have forgot a lot more than most people kno. Also stop do urself a favor, stop fukin around and go cop at least a 400w mh/hps switchable system so u can get real buds that is what ur after isn' it.

well we all have to start some were eh!
anyways bud go and get 3 x 25w or more cfls 6400k for veg(growing your plant) from your local store! its a standerd light you use at home heres a pic!! and place them all around your plant about 2 inchs away from it. thats the very first thing you do!!! and put it on 18/6 for 4 weeks or until you think your plant looks big enough to flower also look thro every thing on this site theres a lot more to it than just putting a seed in a cup and leaving it in your room

u kno ur right we do have to start somewhere but cuddy if u do go with cfls for veg at least add hps for flowering. I don't care wat some might say show me differerent and i'll shut my mouth until then piss off, because i've been all over this site and although sum cfl setups produce almost compareable results nothing can produce the same yield right now as HID lighting, period.

Also please don't keep ur babies under that silly ass 24/0 lighting schedule ur plants need their dark period to recover and rest the same as humans. If u wouldn't sit under light 24 hours a day why would u make ur plants indure this kind of punishment. 18/6 man if u want sum say to move to 16/8 the last couple weeks of vegging to insure femininity. I'm not sure if its true just i'm just doing 18/6 all the way thru until flower, since I paid the extra for feminised seed.

u could even go 20/4 if u wanted to, u gotta give em some kinda break. i Always notice visible growth after a dark cycle it's healthy and part of a plants natural life cycle and that's what ur trying to recreate indoors.

i'm new at this mate, what do you mean about the lighting schedule affecting sex? 16/8 verses 18/6. i'm on 18/6 with feminised seeds myself. are fems more likely to go hermy with the increased light?
