How do i keep them small and very bushy? HELP PLZ

im trying to get my camera ready sorry for not hving pics.
but my setup is :

1x 125w CFL envirolight 6100k for veg
1x 125w CFL envirolight 3000k for flwr

my first grow was a plant about 3ft. tall with NO nodes ..nothing. just single stem with some leaves


but i just germinated 4 seeds. ( hopefully i get two females)
but i need to keep them under 2ft.
i want to have about 2-5 colas

how would i do this?????

i am doing an LST grow that you can check out. i plan on letting them get all the way around the rim and to grow maybe a foot taller then to flower. https://www.rollitup.org/grow-journals/41367-first-cfl-closet-box-grow.html

Definately LST or top the plant... anytime you cut the top off of the plant the plant is going to concentrate it's growing hormones on the branches below the cut. most plants experience this, not just cannabis. but LST is fairly easy to master if you read up on it.

p.s... definately do a journal, let other people give you there 2 cents as well

I topped mine after the third set of leaves and then again after they grow out and have another set of third grow leaves I topped them again....

They spread and are staying low. I took my clones yesterday and cut them from the upper branches to allow more light to the center of the plant to allow the lower branches some light and growing room....

I have a thread in plant problems "way to much ph up" if it helps...
