You can squeeze them between your thumb and index finger. If they crack, they're no good. If they're small and white, they're no good. You want seeds that are hard, fully formed, and a tan to brown color. Scuff up both sides a little bit with a razor blade and put them in some moist soil. Keep warm and wait about 2-4 days and presto, baby ganja.

I always put them in a cup of water, for a day or two. They will usually float at first then after a day or two then swirl them around and they sink, I think it softens the shell and gets moisture to the inside. Then put them in a plast ziplock bag inbetween a moist paper towel in a warm spot, usually within a day you'll see a root coming out, then plant. Then you know it cracked and it starting to grow but like grobo said make sure you have good seeds. Anyway thats the way I do it.

Put em in paper towels wet them cover them in saran wrap with holes for air and if they sprout they are good. 1-4 day's or so,,keep em' moist. Than you will know.

im a really big fan of just packing them into some dirt in a small pot, then soak the soil and wait for a few days. i truly believe that most people put WAY too much energy into germinating seeds. why do you want to move a seed when it is at its most fragile point anyway? just plant them.

Put them in a wet paper towel. Then put that in a ziplock in a warm dark place for a few days. When you see the tap root
coming out transplant in a jiffy cube of rockwool!

everyone has their method of madness when it comes to how to grow...but imo just plant it, cause thats how it was done in the begining....keep the soil moist and if its a good seed it will grow....also alot of seed companys say just plant it also...just my opinion we all have em...let it be written...

if there old seeds there is some things you an do to help out i got 2 40 year old seeds to grow!! FIRST DO NOT USE TAP WATER!!!!!!! if you do let it lay out in a cup for 48 hours. 2nd add two drops of bleach to one cup of water then use that water it kills all the bad shit in the water. i put mine in a glass pie dish with paper towel and put a heating pad under it on low for a day. now the only reason i took them steps is because i only had 4 seeds thy were very old and have a lot of meaning to me thy were my ol mans and he passed away. its been proven already that seeds from 200 years ago have been grown just Google it.
