all those leaves r still on the outside. are you sure the bud is completely dried?

I have grown THC Bomb several times and the strain doesnt produce very dense buds, it does produce immense sized buds though and the smoke is rocket fuel.

I would rather have your bud after a better trim than that other crap.

Seriously I would rather have 1 perfectly cured mini cola than a bag full of tight popcorn. It all ends up in the grinder anyway.

Compressed buds are not as good as carefully jar stored buds

Trim your buds close. Then take them (two or three) insert into a zip-lock baggie and close all but about an inch. Stick a drinking straw into the bag and gently suck out the air. This will GENTLY compress the bud without crushing the outer trichs. Simply leave the bud like that for a few minutes then remove, dry, cure!
VOILA!

i think trimming is the big issue here just save all your leaf clippings in a brown bag so you dont feel bad about cutting crystals off! then make canabutter or something out of the trim!

leave that shit in a sandwich baggy for a couple of days open it a few times...As if you were smoking out of it..I noticed that takes the fluff outta mine..makes it compact

just put that shit under the couch cushions for a few days! haaah

roll up the buds in paper with holes punched in it and cure it like that.

If you add 2tbsp. of corn syrup (per gal) of glucose to your water during flowering along with co2 and a light this will make your buds nice and tight. Corn syrup is a source of high fructose glucose that has been refined V.S. Molasses which will clog up a hydro system and promote bacteria growth.

All you people saying "squish your bud" are terrible. That is the definition of drug abuse.
If you want dense nugs, you need a strain that will give them to you, to grow it properly, and to LET IT FINISH!!! 95% of amature growers harvest too early, they hear 8 weeks to flower and follow that blindly. The fact is, marijuana does most of its "filling out" in the last week or two, pulling early will fuck you like that.
anyhow, a good trim never hurt nobody and make sure you cure that properly, whats the point of being impatient, it only gets better with time.

Try letting your plant go for a couple weeks longer in bud.....if I down my strain to early it will have fluffy weed...if I grow it longer in bud it pods out






I cure differently.....I let the entire plant hang in a dark 65-70*F closet for about 6-7 days.....until the buds feel dry to the touch....then I get a 33 gallon trash bag and seal the plant up inside it for 24-36 hours....the plant draws the moisture from the stems and it becomes moist again...then I let the plant dry out for another day or 2 until dry

Besides cleaner manicuring, I find a good hand packing of the curing jars well worth the hassle . . . to ensure the buds are cured tightly, you can't have a bunch of empty space in the jars . . . however, too tight isn't good either. It's a learned behavior. I also add less cured buds to jars as space becomes available w/dehydration.
