How do I get fuller nugs?

After all the hard work and money spent into growing I always get nugs like this after being trimmed and dried. It tastes great and smokes smooth but it's always so little... It's blue dream and i've harvested this about 3 or 4 times...

Bigger better lights...
Longer veg time...
Harvesting at the proper time...
My Buds pack on the weight the last 10 days...
Look ready... then wait 10 days more...
That's my motto...

I use a 400 watt light at 75 percent so that's 300 watt. I use an HPS throughout the whole process because I grow 12/12 from seed. I'm not looking to get more buds i'm trying to get denser buds. But good point about the wait 10 days more. I'm just paranoid of the trichomes turning amber, I want the THC at it's peak. I grow in a water farm, one plant per water farm and the temps are 60 at night and 82 during the day, the humidity stays from 23-50% throughout the day.

Alt of strains pack on the weight at the end. I know the closer the lights are the denser they will be. Maybe try that or look into some of the bud products. Just stay away from gravity

edit- can you turn up to 100%? Might help

when I turn it up to 100 percent it gets close to 90 degrees unless it's winter. I'm going to try koolbloom and see how that goes, hope it's not a waste of money...

I had the same problem when I put in 3 months of 18/6 with an MH, small nugs that were kind of dense put way too small to make the expense worth it.

12/12 From seed will not allow you to go where you want. If your space is too small or your not patient enough to veg fix it.

I'm not sure friend. I'm sure vegetative growth is there for a reason, maybe it's not just for bigger buds.

Pictures speak a thousand words. My 1st grow I had two bag seeds. Buds turned out dense but just really small. Like my biggest single mug after dry and cure was like 2.5 grams. Now on my 2nd grow I am at week 4 flower and my buds are already double size from my first grow. The difference for me has been, genetics, I got some good beans with the genetics for yielding lots of big buds. I increased veg time by a couple weeks. And finally and probably most importantly, my plants are healthy and have grown vigorously all throughout the grow. My first grow, I had a major nitrogen deficiency in early flower that was not fixable. Plants finished but yield suffered, I didn't experience the "bulking up" that the buds do throughout flower and near the end.

My bulb is less than a year old, I grow in hydroton using a waterfarm and I stick to the general hydroponics feeding chart ratio, I try to keep it at the highest ppm it can tolerate and keep the ph at 6.0.

I have floramicro floragrow and florabloom.

12/12 from seed outdoors would make nice buds but not indoors.....

....and for plants that only grow for about 12 weeks they pretty much have to veg and flower without any distractions. its not hard you just have to pay attention.

Haha, I used the flora series on my first grow too. And I recently did some reading up and watched a great video on cannabis nutes and how sooo many of these company's are making products that are not really ideal for canna. Maybe try the Lucas formula with the general hydro products. Remember GH is general hydro, they make a product that will grow a huge range of hydro vegetables. It is not tailored specifically for canna.

Ok. First your bulb should be replaced or its a factor. Replace every 6 - 9 months max.

In hydroton you should ph to 5.8

GH recipe on bottle is garbage imo. Try a lucas formula in flower.

Veg ml/gal
Micro 8
Grow 10
Bloom 6

Flower
Micro 8
Bloom 16

If using RO water add 5 ml of calmag per gallon

CHECK YOUR ROOTS if brown there is youroproblem Pythium.

Gh flora grows awesome weed. Its what I use and I am proud of my results. Recipe on bottle sucks though.
