How Do I Germinate In Soil?

why do you want to germinate in soil ? use a paper towel keep it dark warm and moist then plant it in the soil

Plant your seed about 1cm deep in the soil. Cover lightly and then water the soil. Water quite well, but do not soak. Then cover the top with cling film. Wait for anything up to 10 days for the shoot to show although usually 5 days you will see life. Remove the cling film as soon as you see a shoot. Do not water again until the soil looks like it needs it.
Germinating in soil prevents potential stress to the seeds that you might get with moving them from a paper towel to soil and takes the same time to germinate. I have tried both and now use germination in soil every time as I see no advantage to germinating in paper towels.

you should water the soil first, before you put the seed in. so you dont make the seed sink too deep when you water it.
