How do i"break the ice" and smoke with my dad

Get a couple g's of the stinkiest bud you can get, say "Hey Dad, smell this shit" and then pass him the jar. And since you are an adult (right?) he cant do shit except get pissed or smoke with you. As far as stealing his shit, maybe he is just paranoid.
 
It's funny... My cousin and I smoke together all the time, but it used to be our parents that smoked together (ever since I can remember, and even when they were teenagers)... My older sister is a riot when she rarely takes a hit (1 is all it takes)... My dad let me get my first tattoo when I was 15 because he was really high (and happy)... BUD IS LOVE!!!
 
i first smoked with my dad at my high school grad party. we had a keg of good beer for my older brother, my dad got a little tipsy, and one of my friends whipped out a blunt. i got a little pissed at him at first, and then my dad goes "can i have some of that?" my buddy laughed and passed him the b, my dad took a hit and said "ah this isn't a cigar!"...and then he took 2 more hits and went on his merry way.

the funny thing is we never really talked about it again.
 
here's what i did with my uncle.

one day i heard him chokin on some fine cali ganja behind the garage.. i've always wanted to smoke with him but like we all feel.. its a little awkward <like this word... but he knew i smoked.. cuz i always walked around his house high and never tried to hide it.. and of course i knew he smoked... so we both kind of knew of each other but never brought it up.. i know my uncle aint no bitch so he wouldn't tell my mom anything if he "thought" i was smoking. but i wasn't too sure if he "knew" .
so he's coughin... and hittin.. i walk around to meet him.... and don't say anything... he looks at me... and says what... i walk closer... lean against the same wall and stick my hand out as if im holding a joint.
my heart is poundin... will he back hand the shit out of me? will he tell my mom? (his sister which doesn't know i smoke if she found out back then i would have been kicked out the house most likely, i was 14)
or will he simply dismiss me and tell me to mow his lawn.. well his ass passed it... and we've been gettin blown together ever since..

hope this helped out somewhat.. i know how you feel and your trying to picture an actual plan to go about this.. there's my layout.
 
p.s. you make your dad sound like an ass hole.. next time you ask for some money.. tell him.. " can i have 10 bucks?..'for what? a joint?' .. no for a gram, my back is killing me, i think its inheritable" then see what he says.

i think we need to know more about your pops tho mann.. in order to help you out.. some dads knock the fuck out there kids when stepped to wrong..
so i guess my question to you is... why so scared??? what's really preventing you from walking up to your dad and saying.. hey!, i smoke, you smoke, why don't we smoke together and talk bout some stuff i been meaning to talk to you about... i kno i kno... this is not how you guys function.. but if you did it... what would happen?? what are you scared of?? he might love you and you guys might become a happy father and son? i kno scary.. (not sarcastically) never knew my dad.. and if someone were to tell me i could meet bk up with him and start fresh i would shit my self and not do it. even tho that's what i want more than anything in life.. not saying this is your case but if it is .. im just saying its ok mann.. you don't have shit to lose.
 
Capdaddy I'm your dad that's why we never met. But thanks to this pineapple express I can finally come clean about doing your mom during an ozzy concert. Nice to meet ya son here's a doob.
 
It feels like to ME, your dads having issues of a different kind, seperate from you alltogether. i seriously doubt that you smokin weed is on the top of his list of stresses. if he smokes he probably does so FOR stress relief and such...a better angle MIGHT be to ask him whats on his mind. or whats troubling him...and as you do it, pass that dutchie! (always to the left hand side ;P) assure him its yours and not his, and that if hed like..you two can sit and chill and talk things thru. its not hard, its just tension, like you said. well we are ALL 'tense' HERE..lol relieve him of stress and youll be amazed at the changes made.
 
LMFAO... U guys r funny! Never had the pleasure of smoking with my uncle (who has some of the finest bud I have seen in person) or my aunt... My cousin and I will be at the same house, high as hell, but we just never all smoked together... I think they feel weird about it... But my mom smokes with my cousin... so IDK... matter of preference I guess
 
lol! the mrs really doesnt like pot at all..was an issue for years, but i finally won. but whats funny, is ive smoked with almost every member of her family over the years, from her aunts to uncles to her own mom. lol ive smoked with kids as young as 11 (i DID NOT supply, the little shit whipped out a J and lit it..i wont say no lol) and an old lady who was 82..and all ages in between. lol i WISH i could smoke with my dad, but hes so straight-laced it would be toooo weird.
 
When i started growing/toking my dad found out and hooked me up with some clones and taught me some crazy techniques. All you gotta do is say you know what your doing and dont be stupid. My dad never liked that i smoked but he said as long as your doing it on your free time its fine. Smoking with your dad is a bit out of question but you could try it on his birthday or something, hed probably be down.
 
I hope to hell when I have kids if they do decide to toke they will inform me; so I can help them and provide them with the green instead of it controlling your life.
I was paying $280/oz every few weeks in highschool/college (buying dimes everyday) and the whole time I was doing this my rents were scoring $50 ounces and possibly growing there own haha. Obviously I didn't know till after and I almost shot myself.

I have a similar relationship with my father, however I have no interest in toking with him..

Not everyone will be embrace your decision though. There are plenty of situations (including family) you should hide your hobby. Unfortunately you can still be locked up and ass-raped for 7 years over growing a few plants.

My dad has even told me today he use to be a very angry drunk and if i said somethin about it he would beat the shit about me because thats the kind of drunk he is im about to go and try and get some bud from my dealer because me and him have the whole day alone cus my mom and sis is gone out of the house so idk but i still dont know what hell do about it so idk if i wana i just dont have the balls to face him about it:/

sure i am an adult wink wink:) but idk what hell do about it im bout to pick up a hydro/ak47 mix cus i told my dealer what im wantin to do and he said hell sell it to me same price as usual but its just cus i wana smoke with my dad for the 1st time but i dont want him to take all my stuff so idk what hell do about it i want to smoke with him but idk

idk it feels like he hates me at times hes always yelling...and i needed a $1.50 for a lil pop and he owed me 2 bucks so i went and got the 1.50 the other day and was goin to call it groovy and then he came home and thought i was robbin him of like 30 bucks and he was broke out crying and said why do u do this to me why...your my son and i want to love u and u do this to me i was like dad im sorry i needed a few bucks hes like why didnt you just ask me instead of stealing you know im low on money i would of gave it to u and u do this to me why josh...i was like dad im sorry i dont want to hurt you hes like you already did and then he walked off in tears and idk but it hurt so much knowing what i did cus i love him and hes my dad but we have big issues between us and i want to just be a son and dad family like when i was 10 before i lost my bestfriend and before i became who i am today. hes even told me hes ashamed when someone asks whos ur son and he has to point at me...
 
wow... maybe your dad just really is an ass... He seems to focus on the negative instead of anything positive... just don't take money (parents are usually wiling to dish it out if you are willing to earn it)

mann... ... ... sometimes somethings are beyond repair.. i know it sucks mann.. but give it time.. give him constant opportunity to open up to you and let it loose.. sounds to me like your pop's been thru sum shit. but doesn't mean he's gotta come atchu like that. anytime he comes at you like again.. just tell himm.. dad i respect you and love you.. and im here to talk to you if you need somebody. and then let him know you would like to talk to him bout some things as well if he's up to it.. open up to him slowly mann.. recovery takes time.. that's some fucked up shit to say to your child tho. im sorry mann. i guess im the lucky one in this case.. never really knew my dad so i guess he doesn't really have to power to hurt me.. as for you maybe you can ask your mom more about your dad? get to really know about him.. no matter how good you THINK you know himm.. you never truly will unless you make that step.
