How close are these two beauties from being ready to harvest?

Hey everyone,

I'm so scared to get the timing wrong for harvesting my outdoor grows, because the plants are so large. I have four growing in my backyard, but my Turkish Cookies and Bubba Kush, both from Dr. Greenthumb, are getting close. Based on the pics below, how much longer would you think they have to go? Thanks so much for the support, it's much appreciated.

Based on the pistils and how plump they look, I'm thinking that I might be entering the window to harvest.

Thanks for the suggestions and the kind words. That Turkish Cookies is 10 feet tall and loaded with buds like that. The Chemdawg plant in my backyard is the most remarkable looking plant I’ve ever grown, but it’s likely going to grow into November. I’ll probably come back to post some pics when it’s close to chop time for a second opinion.

Thank you. I ended up chopping the Turkish Cookies today because the trichomes are mostly milky, with some ambering. I’m holding off with the Bubba Kush for at least another week. Each year my reading vision seems to get worse, lol, so I spent some time with it in the sun today with my loupe.

This Turkish Cookies plant had the best bud-to-leaf ratio I’ve ever seen, and a reasonable mid-October harvest. It’s a great strain overall, but a great one for outdoor growing, too.
