how clean do you need to be in dwc

Hi all I'm running a rdwc and I seem to get little debris, dirt off the floor, dust etc when mixing up nutes and then adding to res. Does this really matter too much?

Sorry I'm new to dwc and as a brewer I'm use to being very sterile, I just hope I don't have to be as pedantic with plants

i agree with firsttime. not a big deal. just try to keep organic stuff out. organics and dwc don't mix too well.

hmm. had to check my t shirt. who makes Gisborne Gold? also went to the place that makes cider there too. the cidery, i think?

we took an awesome road trip of the north island as part of our honeymoon. south island is on the to-do list.

Sweet. Yeah that's sunshine brewery. The north is good, the south is also really awesome. Lots of really good climbing and hunting down the south.
