Ive built me a pc grow room and i need to keep my plant short so it can stay in there. im a beginer on planting and need to know the best way to keep it short and how to grow it good

LST is a decent method however I think a Screen of Green would do your PC Case more justice take a look at "Enter the Scroggers" thread in the Advanced techniques observe some of the pictures and try and make it your own you will enjoy the yield and "keep your plant short" at the same time.

Nice bro...your first..make sure you grow a strait indica in there. .Sativas stretch like muthafuckas in flower and take like 100 days for your first an indica is a short plant easier to keep low and finishes with like fifty days flower. .If you learn to clone youll be able to pop in a clone strait to twelve twelve and end up with a nice cola...although and mark my words..by the end youll be making plans to build a room...your about to start on a hobby thats awsome and youll have so much to learn..good luck friend and what are you using for light and how tall is the box

re: i am using 2 flourescent bulbs wired up to the power supply my tower is about 22inches tall and like 10 wide

On my current grow I FIM'd one, Topped one, and LST'd the other. they all did their job but the LST plant is literally half the size, I could vegged her out for months with room to spare.

-Start with a short strain.
-Use a broad short pot.
-Keep vegetative growth time to a minimum. Run 18-6 (instead of 24-0) and once the plant starts to show sex, flip to 12-12.
-You might consider running LESS than 12-12 for flowering, too.
-Training: Bend tops, tie them down, and/or use a screen to keep the plant as low as possible.
-Make sure to keep the light near the plant to reduce stretching. In a PC box you might have an easier time RAISING the pot rather than lowering the light(s).

Keep those bulbs 1-2inch from the plant. Bring the light to them so they don't have to reach for it.
