How can I construct a smell proof box (with carbon filters) for my food dehydrator?

Hi! I'm planning to watercure my buds and then dry them in a food dehydrator. I need to construct some kind of box for it so that there will be no smell (I still live with my family). I have no growtent or such to use since this is an outdoor grow. I was thinking of buying http://www.amazon.com/Carbon-Filter-Activated-Xytronic-Absorber/dp/B005C5HUI8 and then tape/glue them on some kind of box/plastic bag that I'll place the dehydrator in.

Will this work? Maybe I could also buy a jar of ONA gel as a complement.
Any ideas?

I'll appreciate your help! :)

Do you have a barn or shed available for 3-5 days. This is a way better method than the dehydrating. If not then hang them from a tree outside for 3 days, hopefully no rain, trim it all and toss it in jars.
another way I have dont it is a cardboard box with Desiccant packs in it, on the top shelf of my closet. I bought autoban for the smell. spray it in your room before you leave.

Yeah I have the feeling if you use that your bud is going to end up tasting really bad, I would just get it in a dark place with some air circulation. I guess if you really had your mind set on it you could buy a small carbon scrubber and lay it down flat inside of a computer case and let the computer fans pull the air through the scrubber.

I m guessing you can find a smaller one ore maybe tape up one end of a water bottle with those sheets you have and make a scrubber that way. I'm not sure how that would work but its an idea I guess.

if your any good at building things make a filter

don't cost much for the parts on eBay

I would use the smallest low watt fan you can get hold of and the filter only needs to be a wide as the fan but would make the filter at least 4" thick so it filter out all the smell

the second filter can be a lot smaller and thinner as its only there to stop smell getting out

just make sure the the box is air-tight so all the intake and out take air has to go through the filter

the cotton sheet is there to stop any carbon that slips through the fine mesh getting on your buds

make sure you shake the filter a few time and keep topping the carbon up, when you screw the top metal fine mesh down you want the carbon to be compressed down so it don't move or the carbon will move about letting the smell through
