i have been a dallas fan for a long time. it has been a long time since their glory days. i thought they were on the right road when they went 13-3 like 2 years ago but they fucked that up lol. at first i thought romo was the new troy aikman but sometimes i thought he might be the new danny white.:bigjoint:
the philly game was a big game in the division and instead of folding like they always do, they showed some guts and played with some heart and toughness. romo has been decently consistent for a few games and miles austin is turning into a gamebreaker. i am glad t.o. is gone and the d is looking a little better. if you are a dallas fan let riu know and show some love. yes they got some work to do and half the season left. oh yeah marion barber is a beast and one of my favorite cowboys since emmit.

I am a HUGE Cowboy fan here... I've been fortunate enough to have access to season tickets since back in the early 90s. I've also been introduced to Mr. Jones, all of the players since 2000, along with Coach Parcells (who surprisingly is very nice despite his demeanor on Sundays/with the team), and Coach Phillips. :hump:

While people might dislike/hate Romo, since he began starting a couple of years ago he is currently in the top 3 in active QB rating, so chokes aside, he is still a solid QB. I feel like if we beat Green Bay this weekend we will make the playoffs, despite our atrocious record in December. And while I am glad that T.O. is gone, I am even happier that we finally got rid of Roy Williams (safety). Sure he can hit hard for a safety, but he can't cover anyone to save his life.
Jason Witten - Best all-around Tight End in Football, hands down. Even Tony Gonzales, Coach Cowher, and Shannon Sharpe have said the same. Even if we don't win it all, it still is nice to know that despite our recent slip-ups, we still have won more playoff games than anybody else in history.
Now, if only Flozell can learn that you don't move until after the ball is snapped, we will be much better off.

wow season tickets would be the shit. i was raised in texas and my uncle has had season tickets but said he couldnt afford them with the new stadium prices this year. i liked bill parcells as a coach. i am actually a fan of romo but i think he was lacking some of the decision making of some of the elites like manning and brady. i can say that a lot of his troubles were with protection and he had to elude a lot of people many times. but instead of taking a sack sometimes he would scramble and force a bad throw to make something happen. he did it a few times in big games, and then before half the other team would take it back for a touchdown for a huge momentum shift. i think he is maturing and learning to protect the ball more which is awesome. i was so dissappointed in the false starts and penalties on the o line in key moments last year. so many times with the game on the line 3rd and short would turn into 3rd and long. to me that is a sign of coaching. well coached teams dont make so many mistakes at crucial times. jason witten is a badass. i am a big fan but at times last year they looked like they werent playing with intensity.
i was getting worried but i think they are looking pretty good and wade is coaching pretty well and garrett is calling decent plays. i think they will make the playoffs and i hope they do well. they also look like they are finally playing with some fire in the tank.

i was worried bout the stagnant offense but all 3 rb's are awesome. roy williams caught a td haha and the d looked decent. even though it was the raidas. roy williams needs to leave after the season. any other cowboys fans out there???

At least it's looking like we won't have to win every game in December in order to make the playoffs. Especially considering December is always our worst month and our next 5 games are fairly challenging...

very true. the giants collapse is breaking my heart too lol. some true tests are coming up soon. i really think we should have beat green bay too. every time we had momentum, we shot ourselves in the foot.

Fuck the cowboys koosh. You know better than to like a team whose qb's last name rhymes with homo. lol
u know how much i hear romo the homo :-P but we also got the barbarian haha. i remember u with the ricky williams fins avatar? is that your team?

fuckin boys lol.....giants act like they won the superbowl. damn 10 point lead in the first. the barbarian fumble hurt momentum. d looked uninspired. very tough road now with the chargers and saints and eagles 8-4 w/ the giants right behind. another long december for the boys?? romo didnt look too bad though.

I`ve been a Cowboys fan since birth. But I`m starting to doubt them again this year. They are such an undisciplined team. While they are in the top 80%, 3/4 plays they will then have a penalty, Romo will throw a pick or the defense will let up a huge play.

Although Colombo is out, the O-line is really starting slip. Romo is getting sacked quite a bit and the run blocking is horrific. Not to mention the guaranteed 2 foul start penalties per play.

They probably have the hardest nfl schedule comming up. Playing the Chargers, Saints and believe Eagles and Ravens in the next 5 weeks. I think the Eagles will end up taking the division, it will be a fight for a wildcard.

Hopefully they can get their shit together and make a run though.

the act that an aaron rodgers led green bay team beat the cowboys, I think should void any post-season wins and automatically deffer it to the New Orleans Saints..

Hey man I`m from Green Bay, but Dallas fan first..

Rodgers is a pretty damn good QB with 2 top recievers and a damn good defense they are healthy.

That total game on both sides was sloppy. So many penalites, needless mistakes.. Williams fumbling after his huge pickup. :spew:
Had to buy the table shots at the bar..

The wildcard chase is going to be good, between NY, GB, Dallas maybe even SF if they turn their shit around.

Love Football!

How many wins does green bay have? I just have to give cowboy fans a hard time.. everybody in my family here in Oklahoma are cowboy fans... so it's just a habit.. Rodgers is a good QB, and though he'll never be what Brett was to the packers.. he can't be anyworse than what they had before Brett

exactly what i was saying. they have the talent but they have the signs of an undisciplined team. like all the false starts on 3rd and 5. they were worse about it last year though. sometimes i think wade phillips is soft but i do like him. i think columbo going down hurt them more than people might think on the line. also you never see the cowboys do the same thing on offense. its like they are always searching for something that works each game and they never establish any type of rhythm until they badly need a td to tie it up late in a game. when they are behind in a game late they play with some fire and urgency. also they have no bread and butter play that they know will work when they need it. they are in a predicament and have an uphill battle with the rest of the games left.

dallas should have won that one. roy williams fucked em big time a couple of times in that game.:wall:

yeah things are gonna get really interesting. williams also had that ball go right through his hands on 3rd and long that would have been huge later in the game. then he tried to act like the lights blinded him....hes a fuckin bum. he killed all momentum a few times. thats dallas for you every time they get some momentum they shoot themselves in the foot lol.:cuss::bigjoint:

yeah bro i got a lot of family in oklahoma and texas too. rodgers looks like he is decent once they started protecting him. farvre is doing awesome this year too. vikes look tough which i didnt think brett was gonna make that much of a difference....proved me wrong haha.

go raiders
aww cmon now yeah haha. i know u got love for the bay but the raidas playboy?

This december is looking all too familiar. I wish we played in basically any other division right now just so we can have a few gimme games at the end of the season.

Jason Garrett is starting to piss me off some games. We have one of the best combinations of running backs in the league and some games he still calls like 80% pass plays... really Garrett, really?

100% i am with you on that. 3 great backs and they never seem to utilize them right. they always seem to use that inside slow draw play as the main run, although it works at times. its like they have so many weapons but they never seem to know what they wanna do with em. i still love the boys but its looking a little uncertain right now. the pass d always worries me too. only time will tell this year..:?:
