I am growing big bud strain (feminized)
And I am wondering how big should the final pot sizes be,for this strain I've read tend to be larger
And how many of these pots can I fit in to my grow box (
GrowRite XL - 120X120X200cm )

No, sorry. What size and kind of light are you flowering with?

How big a pot size is determined by how much plant growth per planter your flower light can support and what your goals are with your space.

That's a great sized space for a 600. You'll need large planters for flowering to maximize the potential of that light, like 5 gallons minimum.

Plant numbers are a personal preference. The most I would ever use in your space is one plant psf, or 16 plants. With that many, you don't need as much veg growth because the density of the plants is so great. Decrease the number of plants and you increase the space available to each plant, thus you veg longer to fill the same space if you use less plants. I hope this is this making sense?

Mmmm actually dual spectrum bulbs have metal halide too so its not the same lumens as a regular 600w hps so i would reduce ur space to 100x100 and as long as the plants u can have 1-12 and that depends on how long u veg and how much space ur buckets cover, if u want small even canopy 9-12 vegging until they have 6 inches or a lil less than a month or u can also go 12/12 and they will become to flower alone in a month or so tested a 12/12 seedling now they are 10inches tall and into flowering week 3 very healthy green or u can veg 4 plants until they reach 10-12 inches 1.5 months and then flower, currently i have 1200w grow 12 under a light and 4 under the other.

Heres a pic of a 12/12 and even that soil is crap so it can be done better.

Btw : jorge cervantes rule of thumb on pots is, 1month=1gallon
So if u veg for a month and flower for 2 it woukd be nice to get a 3 gallon pot

haha that all depends...you could start with a 10L(2gal) pot, ideally from that you'd want to go to a 50L-70L(13gal-18gal) pot. At the end of the day you need to allow enough room for those roots to move, that's if you want large plants. Of course you can go the other way and keep everything on a smaller scale, completely up to the grower! it's a versatile plant ;)

Well for me right now its all about quantity of those buds
And from my point of view with Grow room dimensions of 120X120X200cm and 600w bulb, its best fit would be nine 10 gallon pots, would you agree?

That would be great. Just veg them long enough to do that much soil justice, and you'll grow way more than you can smoke.

I am assuming you are using soil?
In coco I use 5 gallon pots and they are too big. I use them so I do not have to water as much.

I have never had a problem growing large plants in a 3 gallon pot.

Pot size depends on the pot type. I grew 4 plants in 2 gallon smart pots full of coco/perlite and they were 3 feet tall. Got over 300grams on a 400w light with no training or canopy maintenance, just natural growth. If those had been plastic pots it would likely have been much less. When I pull up the roots there were no long thick ones, the pots had pruned everything to a fine mesh of roots that provided a ton of surface area compared to the pot size.. just 7" wide!

Smaller pots = more maintenance. If the plants I grow were in 3 gallon pots, I'd be watering every other day. May as well grow hydroponically with that kind of maintenance schedule.

Coco in smart pots basically is hydro. :)

Low maintenance, but yeah.. watering every other day if not every day sometimes!

I got mine on Amazon fo88, they are the original brand. Price is always ugh on them, my 2 gals came in packs of 5 for I think $20+ bucks.

I had a similar sized tent 4ft.x4ft. and run a 600 inside it air cooled. I get 9-12 3 gallon pots in it comfortable for flowering with some smaller 3L sq. pots inbetween with single cola plants to fill up some extra light footprint.
