just curious how big of a plant is needed to harvest a pound dry weight indoors with optimal lighting?

are you talking a pound from a single plant?
who knows man it is not a question easily answered it depends on so many variable it is not answerable
.
if you are the pimp grower and have it dialed in you could do it i suppose.
are you that grower?
if not stop thinking about poundage and worry about quality

well of course quality is my 1st concern...as much as it can be with bagseed....but as to the question its not real easy to do with a single plant eh?....the reason i was curious was because i have 2 grow areas 1 is 18"x18"x48" which is where my plant currently is and i have another space i could move to which is about 30"x30"x72" but would rather not use the bigger space unless it would be hugely beneficial and a lb of finished product...well it would be nice too!lol....can i do it in either space i have or is that not possible?...i asked about 1 plant cuz I have 1 that is a lot farther along(12"+) than the rest(5 seedlings)

if you want a pound, you wont be able to use bagseed... because its all about the genetics...

also - plant numbers are less important that light wattage...

you need at least 1000 watts to get a P... you will prob have to do both of them with 600 watt HPS's if you want a P... and you cant fuck up, of your yield will go down.

Actually you can get a pound off one plant indoors even bagseed but you have to do a scrog for a year.

Or you can throw 2kw or so at a plant in a massive container and just let it grow to 6' or more. Again, you're talking a year.

It'll be ready around jan 2010 by the latest.

nah - i'll stand by my statement... i can get almost 2 P's in 3 months under my 2KW scrog.

you could get a P if you put a 600 in each closet and keep things cool and dont fuck up ;-)

I can do it with 7 plants with 1kw light lst and scrog. I am doing it right now andlast time I did it with just 400 watt and lst 3 months of veg

2KW + some UVB lights

and air cooled ballasts

i dont have it all on a scale... but there's my 2KW scrog

I just purchased a Plant tissue cloture kit and am going to give it a try for the next couple of grows… You should look them up.

that is 3 planters, 2 plants per planter = 6 plants

dutch passion blueberry, less than 3 months to chop... that was about a 3 week veg.

i tuned it up this time with a PLC, and the advanced nutrients line

Yea but he said one plant. If you grew one plant to equal a pound dry how long would your veg be under 2k?

Ok I missed that part.

You want to fit a pound in a cabinet... We can all dream can't we.

Well, take one look at this option. You will have to make a bunch of clones but a pound may be possible in this box with zero veg:

Not your box, but that box maybe.

The 2lb thread is mine, and is an experiment in pushing the proven method in the link I gave. The link I gave is not made up, it already works, look, there is proof.
