Well in everything i have read about stress there are always people referring to making them hermie or have more males. But when you really read at what experts are talking about they speak of light induced stress.... Not so much rot stress or bending stress or cutting stress.... its more like this " dont mess with the lights timer, and make sure the night isnt interrupted by you, or the environment."

Im sure there are lots of theories out there.... but i have never seen plants go hermi cause of cutting or bending or transplanting.

Well, my light schedule has been pretty much stable except for when the power went out here for about 15 minutes but I put them in sunlight for that time so they wouldn't be in the dark. The temp has been good and everything so hopefully my plants will enjoy:):)
Which kush strain is easiest to grow, or are they all pretty well the same?

I have no idea why I didn't transplant earlier. All the plants in the 3 gal pots are doing great, but the ones in the small pots seem to just be developing the root system I guess. I'll be transplanting them into 3 gal pots today or tomorrow. The new soil I have is promix with finer perlite.

OK, so now all the plants are transplanted except for one.
I'm wondering if I should put the mothers under a 250w hps when it gets to that point. I really think I've already put enough money into this. I also heard that hps is good for mothers because it makes the plants have long shoots. Is this true?

I have read similar stuff about HPS... It is why i mix with cfls or t5's... The whole dual spectrum deal. I try and give it both colors all the time... well except on the clones n seeds.

you can purchase HPS bulbs that have blue in them ...well up to 30% more blue than regular HPS... Not sure if they go as low as 250 for those though?... maybe ..check it out...

Yeah, I do have a bunch of CFL's but I'm planning on using them in light fixtures throughout the house so I'll just pick up three 42w 6500k CFL's along with the HPS. Also going to get the Homebox Small and set it up right next to my flower tent. I can't wait:)

I forgot to mention, a couple of days ago I found a small spider in the tent. I killed it but now I'm seeing a couple of web strings(?).
Anyway, the plants are growing well. I'm going to grab some more soil and a bunch of 5 gal square pots. I'm wondering how much longer you guys think it is until I can take clones (if they grow at this same pace).
My plan now is to have a few mothers in the mother/ clone tent and about 5 or 6 plants flowering under the 600w HPS and some CFL's. Is that about the right number of plants for my tent/light?
Sorry if this is starting to sound redundant.

Hey man, I'm glad that they are finally growing for you! I think that 5-6 plants under a 600w will let you have 5-6 good size plants!! Post up some pics and maybe we'll be able to tell when you might be able to clone them.

is that what your limited to (meaning laws like 6 plants) if not i would stick more in there.. its a 4x4... 3 row of 3 at least... so 9 minimum Id say.

because of my legal status i only grow 6 in the 4x4 tent .... i could use 3 more :-P

I'm not a medi patient, unfortunately even though I qualify. It's a pita to get a doctor to sign the papers up here.
So you really think 9 plants would fit comfortably in their? What do you think about harvest weights?

Here are the pics. I'm seeing noticeable growth on all the plants daily except for the newly transplanted plants. Hoping to sex this weekend or next week. What are your opinions?

Well man, I'm very glad they are coming back to life for ya for sure. They all look like they could use another couple weeks before you bud them, but it all depends on how big you want them. I've seen people go straight from seed to flower.

there more than ready for a good ol FIM...just keep fiming and topping in due time they will show the preflowers regardless of the light schedule... so just keep vegging till they do... or you can take a clone and flower it when they get a little bigger... usually by the time i take a clone and flower i have preflowers on the plants lol.

Yeah, I'm probably going to top them soon enough. Does when you water make any difference in topping. For example, does it matter if you top it the day you water, or if you top 3 days after watering?

Oh and one more thing. Do pre flowers show up around the 7th or 8th node?

Do you guys think it's possible to get a 1/2 pound or more from 6 plants in this environment? I might end up squeezing 8 in the tent.

Im trying to increase my yields by supercropping.... Check out my thread on it... It takes longer to veg..maybe an extra few weeks... but check out the pics so far... you can tell i gained a shit load of tops!
