house plant

Has anyone had cannabis plant as just common house plant? Maybe next to window for light? I mean maybe some small grow lamp to help. Really just a potted plot with sunlight through window. It would be great to sit in my living room and see my cannabis plant.
If this is stupid let me know. Would it give me good crop? If anybody has experience with it just in house and not in special grow room let me know how it worked out.

Do you have no concerns with security?

no cannabis is decrimalized here in italy. so i'm not worried my friend.

i dont see why not you could keep one there with a big enough light with enough hour of sun exposure.....a lamp would help idk how well it would produce but that wouldn't be my concern if i just had a plant as a house plant

You would not get a good crop at all. During flowering you need virtually zero light for 12hrs and intense light for the other 12 hrs. As a house plant, it would get constant light for more than 12 hrs per day, hence you will either get a hermy, or a contantly vegging plant.

Decrimmed in Italy, well aren't you lucky. If I didn't have concerns with the law I'd try to grow one in perpetual veg in a window just for entertainment.

So you don't have to worry about people breaking in and stealing it and trashing your place do you?

Fuuny you should ask, I was growing 2 plants just for the hell of it in my office by the window. My wife and actually like the way they look. Well, as luck would have it, they were both females! So I took them into the grow room, so they could get the proper treatment. By the window, they were lime green (no nutes, just in MG soil), and I never really topped them. Well, now they should be happy with the proper lighting and dark cycle, with good nutes.

no my house is pretty secure. we have this crazy like security shutters on all our window, that are steel. the only way in is the front door that is like a freaking vault. it actualy has like 6 bolts that go out on all sides. its the only door that can be unlocked from outside. also we have nice fence around house with tall bushes surrounding fence. we have an motorized gate to drive in. the italys dont mess around with there homes here. i feel like im in a damn bomb shelter at times. i think it will be fun just to have a plant around the house. oh and it would get full 12 hours of complete darkness if i just out it our guest room and close the shutter and shut the door at night, it gets pitch black in there. so great for sleeping if oyu like it total darkness.

i have heard that most windows filter out some of the suns light that helps plants grow really well.. if you were to use like a greenhouse glass it would be top notch tho. i am sure your plant would do great in the veg stage. think in flower would be best in a room with 12/12 lighting. like the above poster said, in a living room or something you wont be able to get a good 12 hours of pure darkness which it needs.
