house and garden bud xl vs ionic boost

ive just been reading the npk on both these bottles bud xl is 0.4 - 0 - 0.2 and ionic boost is 0-5-6, so am i right in saying that ionic boost is better because it has a higher p and k which is what flowering plants need the most off, or am i wrong???

A higher P and K value with no nitrogen is something you can add during flowering. Many products suggested adding it at week 3 and beyond.

Maybe budXL has something else in it but with no P at all, I can't imagine it would be something that you'd want during flowering.

thats what i thought homebrewer, the man in the grow told me it was a boost like pk13/14 for the flowering stage but ive just found out its basically a liquid sugar and it help the sugar get to the tops of the plant, not as good as i thought it would be.

I know people that have used Big Bud over Bud XL and they only use Bud XL now.

Personally I use Bud XL and am happy, but I don't have a personal comparison, only 2nd hand comparisons.

Bud XL is completely different because it uses an enzymatic process to extract sugars from the stalk and the leaves and put them into the buds for a tastier product. You could actually use Ionic boost or Big bud along with this product for a great result. It is one of the only products of its kind. Peace and good luck.

it is not a sugar at all. it is primarily an enzyme which tells the plant to take nutrients from the large leafs (which should be full of sugars) this forces remaining nitrogen stores and all remaining nutrients and sugars in the leaf to be sent to the buds for production, the added sugar comes from the leafs themselves! if you do not trim of large fan leafs and leave them (they are full of food for the buds) when you feed them Bud Xl within a few days you will see large leafs loose some color and shrivel a little. i end up with larger sweeter buds.
