hours of light?

Is it better to keep them under the most light as possible or to give them a break for 6 hours? thanks

Really depends on the grower. I've vegged now under 24/7, 20/4, and 18/6 as well and havent really noticed any major differences one way or the other. I've personally chosen to go 18/6 in the future simply for the power cost, and to let the equipment have a break as well. I am however slowly beginning to lean towards the idea that even plants need to 'sleep'

i have got 4 plants right now about 3 inches tall and a few seedlings, i have them over 600w hps light, do you think i should downgrade to my 400w hps or just leave the 600w in? its aprox 3x2 feet

go 18/6. plants do most of their rooting and alot of growing in the dark. 24/0 is good for clones on a hydro system.
