Optics are ONLY on the ecospeed. The bar light. The other, bare diode boards you see the majority of the room is lit with, are just that. Bare boards without anything on them at all.
I've read claims that optics help with penetration, is that true? with multiple arrays at high angles maybe? I'm sure there is other factors

What's the true power of the basic 6 bars on the wall ?
Advertised as 600 watts but only pulls 450 watts

How much co2 do you use for a room like that?
e.g (10killograms every month)
My first grow in this room. Still on my first 20lb tank and I think about 4 weeks in.

are there optics on any of those? the light doesn't seem to penetrate the first group of plants very well

not sure what each light is, guessing its the 6 bar
There is a clear “window” covering the diodes.
Yes their 6 bar fixture.
The penetration is pathetic.
Would it do better if I took the cover off?

maybe, its probable there just for moisture control, doesn't seem to add any light displacement

Me either lol.
No problem, that’s what the forum is for right?
Good luck on your decision.
Don’t get ecospeed lol.
Make sure the real watts is the same as advertised.
yeah there is a lot of false claims with LED company's iv noticed, I still have a month or so before I need to get a new light. so hopefully thing are clearer by then

This is my first day on this forum. I’ve got an ecospeed ordered but it’s been on order for 27 days and alibaba says they only have 3 days to ship. Now that I’ve seen this I’m hoping they don’t and I can get the refund. I got a 10 bar.

Cancel it. I've heard things that aren't so flattering about those. The HortiBloom mega plus is a much better light.

Thanks for the suggestion. I think I might just go with an hlg 550 v2, they had refurbished ones on sale when I looked the other day. I need something quick and it says it’s going to take 10 days for alibaba to process my refund. My refund should be 800 bucks the hortibloom is a still 300 more it looks like. What’s shipping cost/time approximately?

 Guess I could try to take a cover off and check with my lux meter. I would think they aren’t helping intensity or penetration though.
Can you slide the bars closer together?
1200 you got the real deal you know?
Maybe 14 w/ shipping. Falls into a different category because boxing is over 4' so the shipping comp Jack the cost.
Eitherway, 301b, oslon SQ, 2 spectral options, dimmer included on remote driver. Highest #'s all around that i can find. Real glass Gasgeted to over-over-sized bar heat-sinks.
5 yr warranty from well known comp. w/ already good rep. Biggest fixture i know of & pumping up to 900w. All detachable, slidable & fully versatile.
These Budget Barlights are cool n all but are they really that good a deal when compared to the RealDeal? Plus, will they even be in buss in a few yrs. Many will drop over the next few.
Plastic covers fade quick, lightweight flexy bars break diode cotact points when flexed. Good luck getting them wet. I know i like the sliding, pivoting & separating to configure around my plants.
Need at least a 2.5 umol/j fixture too IMO. 2019 is HE.
GoodLuck!

Well I tried to cancel and they said the box was already in logistics. Giving me the run around I think, supposed to have a tracking number today. I definitely gave him a piece of my mind. I wish I’d gone a different direction now but it looks like I’ll be trying out the ecospeed. If the light sucks I will make sure and leave a review so maybe someone else won’t make the same mistake.

I thought it was going to be 600 watts for the 6 bar cause that’s how they advertised it. Ended up being only 450 watts. For the price there are better options imo. I would think the 10 bar would be good tho. The plants under them grew good but the intensity was pathetic.

Cool. I have it but I haven’t put it in my rent yet because I’m only home for one hour while the lights on. Should get it in this weekend.
