I've been growing for close to 5 years now. I tend to get about 20-24 oz per light and I'm not exactly trying my hardest. But I have tried very hard in past. Only time Ive gotten to 2 lbs per light is by putting 50 clones on a flood table.

    Anyways...

I remember when I was younger I used to lift weights, I was fairly built, but not like the one guy I knew. Well long story short I wanted to try steroids to see the results. I bought everything I needed that do so. Although I look back and I am ashamed, it was pretty cool. I wasn't just 50% stronger but I didn't tire easily, ever.

    Anyways....

I understand a plants a totally different biology and would need different chemicals from us. Also who wants to consume those chemicals? Not me...

    But can it be done?

    What's out there?

    Just curious...
Btw I ran test prop and then ace. Followed by clomid and something else.

I was also told super thrive which I no longer use, contains auxin. One of the five common hormones.

    AUXIN
    GIBBERELLIN
    CYTOKININ
    ETYLENE
    ABSCISIC

Probably more in depth for most but by far the most extensive link I have found on the subject.

after you use hormones on your plants, you'll look back and be embarrassed. Your plants will be 50% stronger but
they won't stone you any better, ever

I use kelp which is known for having high amounts of cytokines but that isn't the only reason I use it at all.

If you wanted to take it a step further than just using kelp you could check out this product which has concentrated the cytokine from the kelp but it is expensive. Other products have similar claims.

Well pgr was an unfamiliar word to me last week. Now I know most of the basic info on them. Doesn't sound too good. Anyone use hulk or cyco?

I get huge buds. There just not dense. There ripe, under new 1k bulbs, denser but not like everyone elses.

I thought it could be the batwings but I really doubt it.

My volume is on par, just no density. I lollipop, train, blah blah...

Any helpful advice is much appreciated.

Are these all from seed? Some strains/phenos end up being duds regardless of the packaging claims.

Kelp is a double-edged sword. Use it too often and it will limit vertical growth and reduce chloroplasts.

still learning this stuff myself but kelp and alfalfa seem to be the way go for natural growth enhancement. also corn sprouted seed tea has cytokines.
    kelp= cytokinin
    alfalfa= triacontanol
    corn sst= cytokinins
    coconut water= auxin, cytokinin, gibberellins

I'll admit that I played around years ago with a bunch of things just out of curiosity. I'm not ashamed. I'm a very curious person and I just had to play around to see what would happen. Some of the results were extremely crazy. If you want to turn a cannabis plant into a tall spindly beanstalk that grows several inches in a day spray it with some strong solution of gibberelic acid. I wish I had taken pictures but this was before smartphones with camera's in your pocket 24/7. I haven't played with the stuff for years. I did recently buy some gibberelic acid for an experiment I'm going to do in the vegetable garden though. I have experimented with many of the PGR's and other substances. I've thrown in the towel on that. Now all I give my plants are the 16 elements they need.

I haven't experimented with everything on this list but it's all available from sellers on ebay. I'm done with experimenting but knock yourself out.

    Gibberelic Acid
    Benzylaminopurine
    Indole Butyric Acid
    Brassinolide
    Chlormequat Chloride
    Chitosan Oligosaccharide
    Kinetin 6-furfurylaminopurine
    Naphthaleneacetic acid
    Triacontanol
    Paclobutrazol

What business is it of yours what people do with their bodies? Similarly, why do you care what people do with their plants? Is the use of hormones really in a different league than using synthetic ferts to increase yield?

@NaturalFarmer that is a really cool video. I wish I was more knowledgable about all this stuff. Do you have any more sources you'd recommend looking into?
