No they will work, variable voltages are best, I’ve found that even if you have a quality cart or tank depending on the ohms of the coil you can alter the flavor by changing how you heat the product

I found my used rosin pucks, I cut one open and wow there is a lot of product there. They are in the freezer now. I’m going to scrape all the excess out of the bags then soak them in everclear to extract what is left. I’m hoping it makes some great vape juice

I saved mine for a full year and infused them in coconut oil. Then made chocolates with them. Chocolates of death. So potent lol

I mentioned this in my journal and on another thread, I think it’s significant but maybe I’m wrong. I have a 97 bluemoonshine pheno that is throwing off purple trichomes ! It will squish pink I would think. IM STOKED

Guys - there is absolutely no need for you to spend that kind of money on raw materials for vaping.
Find a chemical supplier for cosmetics/soap making/cooking....
They'll have FDA approved, 100% safe PG, VG, and PEG.
I saw somebody say they spent $270 dollars on 1 liter of PEG. I can buy 500ml of the stuff for $3 in Colombia. FDA Approved, 100% safe for human consumption.....
The imported stuff with the Europe certification sells for like $13 USD locally...... for a 500ml bottle...
don't go to Vape suppliers as they know their market - you are willing to pay more for the exact same bottle of shit they just slap a big marijuana leaf on it and call it 'emulsifier somebullshit'.....
I can find industrial grade alcohol (95% concentration) with no bitterant/additives, used for cleaning in the food industry, for 1/10th the price of everclear at the store... there's no need to spend inordinate amounts of money - all you have to do is research, find a supplier, talk to some sales people and set up a supply chain that's cost effective......

I have not used my 50-50 ph/vg mix yet but I am preparing to try it in A couple of weeks
so I got caught up in the pricing thing and forgot to chime in on how I made my own THC infusions for vape pens....
full disclosure I am no expert in the matter, but this did work for me and I have done it a few times and the results were mixed to fair. again if you want 100% consistency you need to invest in infrastructure which I am not going to do....
I was doing alcohol extraction with some homegrown stuff but the last round some kids got wind of the plants and chopped them (they were at a family farm about 2 hours away, I didn't go there every day) leaving me with just rootballs and a bad day.... same week I was going to harvest too... so now I can't grow there since I know the locals are sneaking in....
so now I'm just buying rosin extract from one of the dudes I met at a cannabis conference a while back..... fair quality, reliable and legal...
the secret I found is adding PEG to the mix.... i don't know how to describe the taste - chemically, slightly ... i don't know... VG tastes a bit sweet, PG is almost tasteless.. PEG does have this weird thing... so don't have this as your main base .... I always tend to start with about 6:1 or 6:2 VG
EG as a base in a small pyrex measuring cup... i warm it in a microwave with the rosin in it 10 seconds at a time. mix it with a small spoon, put in refrigerator to cool....... if it separates I play around, a drop more of PEG, maybe a drop of PG.... but without spending a ton of money on equipment I found that if it doesn't separate as it cools in the fridge it will probably be stable enough for the pen....
I don't use high quality brand name vape pens either... I refill the cheap plastic 'do not refill ones'.... and 2 and sometimes 3 refills is all they last before vapor stops coming out..... with the nicotine e juice they last about 7 refills before they stop working.... maybe I'm doing something wrong....
with this homemade stuff it does kind of ruin them quick but everything has a price. I don't want to buy a good vape pen or set up so I get to replace the cartridges.....
One thing I don't skimp out on is syringes. I always buy a new one to refill and I don't wash/reuse them. They are cheap enough and the tips will become a haven for all sorts of bacteria and nastiness. also having used syringes around the house is a bad look if you know what I mean...... my wife knows I like weed and doesn't mind me making the ejuice and playing around with extracts.... but if she starts seeing old dirty used syringes around - that's just sloppy and helps perpetuate the myth that this is just for 'drug users' and not an alternative to the phychotropic drugs I was prescribed in my younger years... Also never double dip into the PG/VG/PEG containers....meaning I pour into shot glasses what I want to use for that day and dip the syringe into the shot glass, to them add material to my mixing beaker.... I never dip the syringe into the big containers with the material...... hell part of the process is putting the containers away just so I don't get tempted... leftover gels in the shot glasses gets washed in the drain.....
and I live in Colombia and what i did i literally went to the Chemical Supplier for the PG/VG/PEG and asked them: "I need a 95% alcohol/distilled water solution. the one I am using has additive bitterants so people don't drink it and it's damaging the taste of the E-juice cartridges I'm trying to develop for commercialization...
and they showed up one day with exactly that... at a lot cheaper price than the 150 proof alcohol sold in stores... maybe in other countries it won't be as easy but shit....asking around isn't illegal....

i also have no idea how to remove terpenes... this stuff smells almost just as much as just dabbing the shit straight up - so if anybody can help me with how to remove some terpenes for a 'stealth' type thing that doensn't smell like somebody just took a huge hit - it would help me out...

The one on the left is a DaBox, solids vape. Totally recommend. And the Smok is just amazing so far!
I also want to say that Extract Solutions seems to do an even better job than Wax Liquidizer. But, I also upped my shatter game and came out with a beautiful golden shatter and liquid.

Ahhhhhh.
I’ve got a recipe I use for coconut oil. I want to scavenge my pucks for vape able material.
I wonder if I could simmer them in a PG/VG
Blend and then filter it for particles? What do you think? I’ll have to do a little reading. BTW the .22 micron filter pads I bought...... I tried clamping them to a syringe with the end cut off. It did not work.... the material is fragile and it tears. I was able to reclaim most of my product from a .22micron filter cartridge by being patient
I began to look into the Food Grade alcohol market earlier just for shits and giggles....
it is readily available everywhere but the channel is hard to access. direct from manufacturer, only in large presentations, a lot of places like Europe and Australia probably NZ and USA too require special permits, and there are special storage requirements..... it becomes a huge pain in the ass.....
so if you have access to everclear in your area, and you are in the 'First world' - then that's the best option for you to get pure stuff...
the search term for the item is USP Ethanol, food grade ethanol, food grade alcohol....
