Here, attached, are some pics of a new light reflector I made from stuff I bought at Home Depot. It measures 3' x 4' and has mylar glued to the reflecting surface. Total cost about $80, works great.

Thanx, for your comments. Re: the diy rather than buying question, I like building things and saving money. besides, there's nothing available that big and that reflective.

Here's a 7 day update. The pics last week showed 17 seedlings under my new reflector, and they got so big I had to move six of them to underneath a 4" x 8 lamp T5 setup I had. Also, I built another 3x4 reflector and placed it in front of the first one, ready for the plants when they get bigger and I put them into flower. The growth has been phenomenal. The 2 big plants that tower over all the others are a Northern Lights and Skunk cross from Ceres. They measure 18" tall. If they look a little branchy, I just trimmed a lot of the lower leaves. The white thing at the upper right of the last pic is a rag I hung on the edge of the reflector so I won't walk into it. The lamp/bulb is a 400w PlantMax MH, which I augment with Liquid Light.
