Homemade bong

So I'm building a bong and need some advice. I found this sweet vanity light cover and a rain guage at a hardware store. They fit together perfectly so I'm thinkin I'm gonna glue them together with some loctite and then seal it with some silicon caulk. I'm gonna drill a hole in the base for the down stem with a glass drill bit, but i need some advice on how to get the bottom of the rain guage which is actually going to be the mouth of the bong off. I'm thinking about just going at it with a hack saw but I'm now sure how well that will work. I'm open to any suggestions you guys have.

whaaaaat?! is that supposed to be a meth pipe, or for hash? interesting design, but there is absolutley nothing wrong with a correctly designed apple pipe (except that its delicious)

No not a meth pipe. Its gonna be a bong. Its alot bigger than you think it is. The whole thing is about 1 1/2 feet long. the white piece is gonna be the base where you put the water and the clear part is gonna be the mouthpiece. I might try to work in an ice chamber too. I'll post a pic once I finish it so you get the idea. And apples are cool when and have to hide your smoking, but it just cant get the job done like a bong can.

Im not sure i understand, But if i do you can get fine sandpaper and sand off the end of the tube. lol is that what you were asking.....im high.

Is the clear part glass? Maybe use the glass drill bit to drill a few holes and then maybe you can push through and break it so its open, you know what i mean? lol hard to explain
