Homemade 200W CFL Ballast

Hey guys started a grow with a CFL 200W
growing one plant with it, I think after 2 weeks I will start another etc.

What I did was got a 200W Sun Blaster CFL
$75

Found a old electrc heater that I had here, ripped all the wirering and heating elements out and drilled a few holes than mounted my CFL in the box. Works great so far

It does not get hot. The bulb is about 2 feet long.

What do you think?

oh and if it does it warm it has a built in fan, you can see it in this pic. right under the ceramic piece

real easy to hide if needed. Just put the front bars back on the front and set it up right and no one would ever question it.

I added a chain. This makes everything so much easier. I just used a pop rivet to hold on a little triangle bracket, pried it open and slipped the chain in. Than just used hooks on the ceiling. Now I can move the light up and down any time I need.
