im jus wondering guys would i be able to make a homemad l.e.d globes

i wan thinking of buying some cheap/ xmas style led for a PC Stealth box im only looking to veg at this stage

not going to work. People spend thousands of dollars to get the exact correct spectrum of light for growing. a handful of $4 xmas lights isn't going to do anything. Just get some CFLs or T5s

no. You can buy LED lights that use 3.5 watts that come in 4,100k and 2,700K and put out a little over 1,000 lumes and that's around 333 lumes per watt the only prob is that they cost $10 for 1
