Home made Baffle for vortex noise.

6 inch PVC pipe.
Connect to end of ducting run. Quietens the vortex by a huge amount.
Dummied up pics on the work bench.

I dummie rigged it and it works extremely well. I was short a coupling to connect the ducting to the pvc pipe which I just picked up.

lol. sorry ..it disperses the air rather than having the whoosh you get thru a single outlet. (vortex)

That’s awesome! It’s good for guys that need to a bit more discreet. For me it was vibration which is why I filled my walls in my rooms with spray foam insulation.

you could put a larger pipe around that one the same with holes in, double the silence ? maybe

She is hooked up and working well. Ill need to clean up and hang it properly but it works and works pretty well.
I happen to have some 10 inch pipe that I was going to hang the 6 inch inside. But the baffle has worked so well I don't think ill bother. But then I may do up another baffle for my drying tent ….

It might of...but doesn't. If it did id have to in large the holes.
