I did change up the fan situation and ducting from my first install. I am running two 600 cool tubes in there. I have them pointing that direction so the plants get light from both tubes versus the light coming off of the side of the tubes and blinding me when I walk into the room.
I now have a 440 cfm pulling fresh air from outside and pushing it through the cool tubes then back outside. The wife say's I need one more 600 in there so maybe in the future I will add one.
I run a perpetual room so there will be plant's at different stages being moved around in there once I get back to that point. My last room was smaller and I had between 5-9 plants in there at any given time. I tried the scrog thing and it was more work than I really want to deal with. That, and it ties up a large area and...... I really did not see an increase in the amount I harvested over a multi topped plant that is bent over (LST) and staked up. Also I neeed the lower stuff (popcorn) for my butter and hash makin's so I don't clean up the bottoms of the plant's.
I run a 14" and a 16" oscillating fan in there so I got that covered. I still need to pick up another oil radiant heater for in there for during the winter months. I checked the temp in there yesterday and it was 45 degrees ( the temp of my garage). With the lights on it is just above 80 degrees. I moved the carbon filter to the floor so what heat was in there from the veg area would not get sucked out so fast. I will see if that helped any with the cold while the lights are off.
Time to head out and see what's happening with the last cuttings I took.
