Hollands Hope from start of flowering

Hello,
I first heard of hollands hope when I was talking to a fellow grower about his recent trip to amsterdam. I was asking him about the strongest strains he had tried while there and that was one of them. I had searched the forums but didn't find much info on an indoor grow. Anyway I ordered 2 hollands hope and 2 g13 haze from attitude pick and mix (quality idea by them might i add.) One of the g13 haze didn't germinate and the other died as a seedling under the 250w hps(first time that had ever happened to me.) So i got over this fact and began to concentrate on the 2 plants that were still alive. After a couple of weeks of veg I began to tie down and they responded very well to it. After 5 weeks of veg I've started to flower I know they are mostly an outdoor med height strain and don't want them to stretch too much on me. I am using a 250w hps for a few weeks and will switch to a 400w hps once the buds start top show. I removed the ties wen i switched the light cycle as they've done their job of promoting extra budsites and an even canopy. I will be updating every week or so. Any advice or feedback much appreciated....

Well its the end of week 2 and they are growing well. They are stretching and developing very fast indeed... Bring on the buds!! lol

Well i am 3 and a half weeks in and couldnt be happier with this grow so far.HollandsHope is very easy and not too fussy. The two plants responded very well to being tied downand there is not much variation between them. I think the stretch is beginning to slow down and the buds are growing nicely. There are some signs of trichs forming around the top buds. There still isn't much smell but I am hoping that is going to improve shortly. Has anyone grown or smoked this stuff b4 any info much appreciated!!

4 and a half weeks in and I am pleased with everything so far. The stretch seems to have almost stopped. There looks like about 4 or 5 main buds on each plant then lots of smaller ones around them. The trichs are starting to form on the leaves and the buds are starting to produce a lovely subtle fruity smell. The back plant seems to be developing quicker as its got fuller buds and more trichs but I am hoping the front plant will catch up aventually orjust require a bit longer. The back plant is beside the intake air hole was thinking of rotating them incasse this is causing it. Anyone think this is a good idea?

OK I am 2 days shy of 6 weeks and the buds are finally starting to put on some weight and the smell of them is progressing nicely. One of the plants has a lot more trichs than the other but both smell amazing. I am really looking forward to testing this stuff out. I am thinking they will probably still need 3 weeks of growth I can't see them being finished in 8 weeks tbh.

Its now almost 7 weeks but unfortunately theyre not doing as good as they look in the pics. The last grow I changed to start using soil and I am not sure what i am doing wrong but the last yield was rubbish. Although the buds look good they aren't very dense the same thing happened on my last grow too. The buds are growing weird like the tops are growing skinny and away from the main cola its hard to explain put a pic up in another thread and noone was able to help me. I will just have to go back to the old trusted nft system again. On the bright side I cut off and test dried a we bit on fri and it was grrrrrreat, just a shame I can't work out wats I've been doing wrong. I am thinking i may have been watering too often so have cut that right down.
