Hello all, trying to set up a grow cab with a 4" exhaust and a passive intake, what's the best way to go about doing this. I'm working with some shitty particle board
You can drill a 1/2" hole near the circle drawn and insert a jig saw and cut it out that way. A 4" hole saw is a bit expensive if you only need it every now and then.
Also they make little wire saws that would work with your "shitty particle board" that way you can like slip the wire through then cut a circle. Probably the cheapest route. Looks like a little piano wire with serrated teeth.
in the pinchy times when I needed one tool I only needed for one job (rare, still dishonest, I know) I would buy it, use it, and return it.
Just to get the job done.
I'll delete this self incriminating bit of advice after a reply,,,,
home depot is stupid they dont check anything. try harbor freight ten peice hole cutting kit up to 6 inch holes. if u got a drill. this is a good investment for ten dollars. cheap. love harbor freight.
