I've been looking everywhere for a
tool that can cut 6" holes,
i already have my lights
and will be ordering my ventilation soon.

I've tried power drills but the never mentioned the chuck size
for the damn hole saw.

Can anyone help me out here?

Roto zip make a real nice tool for that looks like a drill bit but is a saw. Only thing is though it takes a skilled hand at making a good round circle with them, but are very cheap, like $5 for a package of 3, and fit almost all drills. Look near dremel tools for them if your store does not carry roto zip as dremel has their own as well.

You can also draw a circle and drill holes all the way around and use a coping saw to cut the circle. If you are using drywall then a plunge saw/drywall saw is all you need.

well you should do it from inside your attic to get by insulation and so you don't saw into a beam.i would keep the left over piece to so tht way you can repair it easier and quicker.:blsmoke:
