Okay everyone I'm starting some A1F4 x OGF3 Pinkie Pie crosses. I will only be growing one this go around. I'm starting with only two seeds in hope of getting at least one female. If they are both male than I will start again. I know that seems like a waste of time but I don't have room to start four or five at a time and wait for sex. Going back to the space issue I will be starting these in 1 gallon pots and transplant to 3 or 5 gallons when they sex. I know everyone has negative comments when it comes to transplanting autos but I've never had an issue with it. The soil I will be using is called Dr.Earth home grown vegetable garden planting mix. This is my first run with this soil but it looks like a good mix. I put one cup of perlite for every four cups of soil. For lights I will be using two Area 51 RW-75 LEDs for a total of 150 watts.

Sounds like youve got a good plan in place, My only suggestion would be to consider starting in the final pot, I know u haven't had any issues yet but trust me it stunts them especially if u goof up during a transplant then they get really messed up lol ( lots of personal experience) aside from that sounds good bro.

oh yeah 1 more thing, why not start 2 or 3 in each pot and cull the weaker growing females till you have 1 per pot?

Yeah I've already changed my mind on starting them in one gallon pots. I'll will start them in 3 gallons and maybee a couple in a five gallon pot. I've never thought of doing that I guess I could put multiple in one pot. I just like them to be centered but I guess it doesn't matter the roots will grow where they need too anyway right? I'm only trying to get one female for now so I don't want to start more than I can handle. If I get a good male though I'm definatley going to keep him!

Gotcha, I always grow at least 3-5 seeds for each girl I want to keep So I know I got a good one, not all plants are created equal.

Yeah theyll fill in where ever they have space too, so long as they arent crowded but If you dont want to be doing any LST I get it.

Free seeds for life! lol

Yeah I'll put another one or two just to make sure I have a female but I'm only keeping one female for this grow. Im ready for them to be up and going! What OG did you use if you don't mind me asking? I was assuming dinafem but correct me if I'm wrong.

Yes sir you are correct, I used the Dinafem auto OG Kush for this cross and the same male Pinkie I used for all the crosses.

The 3 moms I got the seeds from were tall, branchy and had golfball type nuggets covered in an almost greasy coating of OG Kush stankin ass trichomes ;)
Daddy was a somewhat branchy, taller Pinkie male with light purple flowers

I don't mind the males at all really. It's just the space issue right now. I started my sour orange diesel kush x alien og also so I can use the pollen I got from a reversed one a couple of months ago. I don't want to keep it in the freezer long at all. Since this is my first time trying to use pollen I was in a rush to start those SODKxaliens to make sure the pollen doesn't go bad. Other than that I'll take a male! I don't mind having a shit ton of seeds one in a while :bigjoint:

Then make more room, breeding weed takes room!
I know I know lol I'm not in a friendly state or else I would! I would have a spare room dedicated to it if I could. So it's closet selecting for now, takes twice as long but I'll find a keeper eventually.

image.jpeg image.jpeg Baby number one and baby number two . The white powder is diatomaceous earth to kill all of the little nasties and to help with silica. I'll update weekly for now since this is the slowest stage of growth. Once they get a little bigger I'll update every other day or so. See you next week!

Day 7,
No problems to speak of yet. Seems like everything is growing sloooowww. It's not the pinkies because my other strain is at the same exact size. It's just moving slow.

First week is always a bore, they kinda stay in seedling stage till around day 10 IME, really just establishing themselves as plants and getting a nice foothold in the soil before they take off.

Yeah they're just establishing their roots. Pinkie number 1 is ahead of the other two plants I have going by probably a day or two in growth. Hope she's a female! They're all the same exact age but the first one is growing faster. You might be able to help me identify these little suckers in my soil. They came in the bag lol. You ever seen these before? Not the best pictures but the best I can get.

root aphid ?
I sure as hell hope not! I don't think so though these arnt really white that's just a reflection from the light. They're more of a brownish red color and they aren't as round as a root aphid I was thinking more like along the lines of this image.jpeg
