HM Clones

Scam artists, really? This is your second order, 1st one was fulfilled, this second one we sent you tracking info for it yesterday. I don’t understand why you would post this.
I liked his post because he's a new member who posted on my thread, not because he called you a scam artist. I'll just stay out of it. Also I've been meaning to email and thank you for the Fritter Cake #2 freebie.

People do get upset when emails go unanswered, so I'm not making excuses for anyone. Maybe just say up front that orders may take up to a month, and shipping may be delayed by extreme weather. That way people don't get antsy when the order doesn't ship in two weeks.

I make clones, sometimes they root fast and sometimes they don't. Sometimes you have to wait a week or so for your mother plants to be ready to take cuttings from. Strains vary in rooting time too, some OG Kush take 21 days for example. 14 days is a pretty tight window.

My biggest issue is communication which I recognize and need to work on, we got this guys order out yesterday and sent tracking info, I don’t get why the post at all. Thank you for the suggestions and definitely appreciate it!
I know what it's like to try and run several businesses at once. I wish I only had one now, actually. Trying to juggle two is too much for me, and my third interest (music) has turned into a hobby that I have no time for at this point. So what do I do? Start more seeds that I have to make room for and take care of. Always looking for that next killer pheno!

Here's the first set of clones I received. I have few others and I saved the correspondence. The Cuts Club stated HM clones were their sister nursery. It leaves me to wonder just how many " clone nurseries" are operating under Neptune? Now that folks have received cuts, they're only claiming King Kong Clones as their affiliate.
These are from The Cuts Club. The Gushers also came back positive for HpLVd. The ICC didnt but it still looks sick as hell.

So did they offer you a replacement cut for the Gushers that had HpLVd or tell you to go kick rocks ? because i know for a fact you have the proof from what ever facility tested it sooooo ?

They sent me a cut of Kush Mints (that I already had) and another cut of ICC that is sick as hell.

I'll try to get some more pics up.
All in all, the entire transaction was a bust and they lost a customer.

Edited to add - the KM is the only cut out of all of them that doesnt appear to be symptomatic but I havent tested it yet. The second ICC does appear to be infected with something. Just not sure what yet. I'm sending off samples for testing soon.

Point being, this company does not live up to its claim of "Top Quality Healthy Cuts" and for the price tag, customers shouldnt have to wait a month for their clones (unless noted in the original listing) only to receive sick cuts.

Damn, testing should be mandatory for everybody now. Hopefully mine came from a different source, they look fine so far. I agree that they should be shipping bigger, healthier clones. It takes longer to grow a mother plant from a small clone, and a more substantial clone has a better chance of surviving the stress of shipping too.

Update - I've got a really busy day today so I'm going to type this in real time as I go. Hopefully it makes sense.

First -HM Clones has stayed in contact with me throughout this time. Big points for the communication!

A couple days ago they msg'd me to let me know a replacement was on its way, which I really appreciated because we're hosting a wedding today at the lake and the package would've set outside at my home had they not alerted me with a tracking number. I didnt plan on coming back to town until Monday but since I knew this was due to be delivered, I was able to make the drive in, pick it up, get it unpacked and into quarantine here at camp. (I like to quarantine away from my main grow areas.)

Unpacking -It was very well packaged with lots of insulated padding and the cut was well secured in a Clone Shipper. It looks super healthy! I dont have time to scope it today but will tomorrow or the next.

So far, I'm happy with how this has been handled. I understand it can be difficult to work the bugs (no pun intended) out of a new business. That HM is willing to hear their customers and work on areas that need improvements speaks to their determination to have a successful business with happy repeat customers.

Pics and more to follow.

I just got test results back from Dark Heart. All were negative for HpLVd, including the Zkittlez, LA Pop Rocks, Fritter Cake, and Wedding Pie I got from HM Clones.

I managed to get one rooted clone from that original heat stressed Zkittlez cut. It's now a mother plant and grows way healthier than the shocked cut did. This Zkittlez cut doesn't have the straightest branching, which I initially complained about. That's just how the cut is I guess. I still haven't flowered it, but will soon.

This is good to hear. It sounds like they've cleaned up a bit.

The Gary Payton came back negative as well. I'm glad they reached out to try to make things right with my transaction. I understand "shit happens" and it can be difficult to get a new business up and running smoothly.

However, I do wonder if they aquired clean cuts of Gushers and ICC as those are still available (those two were sick as hell with Gusher postive for HpLVd)
Also, only positive comments are allowed on their IG feeds. Everything else is quickly deleted including inquiries about authenticity or methods for vetting genetics. This is the only thread I've found on the net with any sort of authentic reviews. With that said, I do hope we see more positve reviews.

For this reason alone I'm still hesitant to recommend them my fellow growers here.

So I guess my final review for Hortmans aka Healthymade Clones aka The Cuts Club is lukewarm. Proceed with caution and hope for the best, just dont risk more than you're willing to eat on any single transaction.

Why do you want to bring in potential pathogens getting clones in the mail. Just buy some good seeds and grow. None of this mail order clone nonsense is worth the hassle and potential issues that might arise.

Instagram sucks

I dont know what their latest IG is. Like many in the bizz, they've been deleted a few times and had to start over.

Check the reviews here and the other grow forums. The last few I've read have been lukewarm to positive but I'm sure as time goes on we'll see more.

To do pheno hunting is completely different than to grow original cuts. Time is of essence when you are dealing with commercial grows. Plus a lot of people want original genetics.
