HLG550

Seams like a nice light but I haven’t had the success I had with 315 mh. I have had 3 runs, light has always produced very bright light. This light runs very low temps in my set out. Here is the thing my buds get a decent size but are never rock hard not airy but soft. What’s the deal I paid alit$$$ for this. Antoine else use this light with any luck

Because HLG are over priced and over rated. If it was cheaper I don't think I would complain. Rolls Royce money for Fords really.

I'm not glad you didn't have the success you wanted. Infact that's a gutter. However goes to show real world testing of there product doesn't come close to there claims or the crap people spout about them. Stick it on eBay.

My SF test is keeping up with what the HLG did. Still to harvest but I'm betting any money it's close if not better.....

What area are using the 550 light in? The same area as the cmh?
How low are the temps?
There's plenty of far red, infra red in the cmh compared to the 550 spectrum.
You need higher grow room temps ~ 28°C with the leds.
You say alit$$$ ? Did you get the 550 from alibaba?
How far away was the 550 from the plants?
They generally work ok though.
