hlg reccomendations realistic?

I was reccomended in my 4x8 to get 350r x4 instead of the 600r.

Being told the 350r is a 600w replacement with 911ppfd so each 4x4 area has 1200watt hps replacement in 600watt.

Running 1200 watt max on hlg replacing 2400watt hps.....

Also being told 1.5gpw is achievable is that gpw actual draw or replacement? cause if i was using 2400watt and getting 1gpw then 1200watt replacement thats 1800gpw

Cause otherwise its saying i can Get almost 3000grams in a 4x8 and that seems a push

Or would you only count the watts replaced.
Eg replace 600watt hps with 600wattled and will pull like a 1200watt....but then it says i can push 1500grams a side still thats stupid..

Am i stoned ?

Or is the 1gpw hps like the 1200hps wud get 1200gish .
Then the 600wled will get 1200gish?

Thats still 40oz a side can that even be done?

Surely id need only 1 to replce 600whps.

So why would i be reccomended to get 2x as the space is 4x4 sayin it wil maximise the space . Thats 1200w hps replacement in 4x4 lol

Hello all ! Me and a friend are looking at different t options for tents and thinking of useing 4x4 tents in different rooms. Be that as it may .... could people share what they have gotten for yields from 4x4 ? Please include what type of light, how many plants, and growing medium please ...

Is a 330 watt LED, I may more than likely be wrong but when they say equal to a 600w how I am assuming that is in power consumption or cost or whatever...but I guess what I would say is don't base your math on this as a 600 watt replacement. Base your math on the 330 actual watts it pulls from the wall.

I have an hlg 300l Rspec and I am happy with it in my 3x3

600W of HLG qb boards is about the max you can put into a 4x4. And most likely you will need to dim it a bit at first at least.

With healthy plants 1gpw is pretty easy under these boards, at least for me since it meant I wasn't fighting temps as much had a better spread etc.

BTW 4 of the 350R will definitely be a better spread then 2 600s. alao more flexible layouts in the future. definitely go that route if u can.

I have hit over that but not 1.5 (yet). came close on a sog. But I also am still always fucking w strains and new setups. so not trying for max yield atm.

I think it's probably easier in an open room than in a tent but either way these QBs grow fat terpy buds.

maybe just do 1/2 the tent for now so u can do a side by side and compare with your current setup? might be a little hard to do since ur temps should be in different zones but it's still possible.

I hit 1gpw with hps and my led ive had 1.7 max if i got 1 350r and it replaces my 600. Id be gettin 600g still thrn. If i added it to 1000w hps id get 1000gish. So with 2 350rs ant i gona be getting 1200g a side?

I scrog and grow organic alredy my yields and qualitys good just wana swap to hps watt for watt if possible heat should be the sameish and the output would be insane. But numbers seem too good to be true ?

i have a bunch of V1, V2, and Rspec boards that I run b/t 50 - 75W per board. So running them soft and doubling up for better spread.

As for your math, well if you hit 1.7gpw under LED already then I don't see why you are second guessing yourself? Order the 350rs and get us some fat bud shots asap!

Been using 3030s few yrs now felt time to upgrade i know hlg will smash these got me pal a few been teaching him tricks of the jungle. but it driv me mad man can u imagine 100oz in a tent haha fk yeah id have to have 4 hps in there to do that but that wud burn holes in tents and pockets lol.

Done 350r x4 il order em its 1200w replacement a side for 660w lol this is gamechange my sheet lol.
spred is true the 600w 3030s has somuch scrag round the edge splitting 3030s into 200s helped alot evened out the canopy they came as 1 and can be unbolted . Whatya get for getin commerital leds off a farmer buddy lol.
My pals 550shlgs are fire and his hlg260s i beat with my 200w till we swapped as he doubted his hlg and found was my thumbs winning lol

Il get em in 3 wk at end of thisone

2 of those will put out more light than you can use in a 4x4 without CO2 won't they? I have one in a 2x4 and have to dim. That seems like a lot of light.

There are always variables, distance, grower skill, genetics etc. etc. Nothing wrong with dimming a bit, plus diodes and drivers run cooler.

I run a 600R over a 4x4 tray. I plan to add some sidelighting for the fringes, but the HLG blows my old 1000w single side HPS away. My last run was autoflowers & I didn’t hit those numbers. Bit over a pound dry with co2 in dirt.
