Day 2, just checked for an even 1000ppfd across the room except the Bar-8 is showing 800 & the x4 CMH are crazy high. Wrong Par-Meter made for led. I'd guess 1100 if MQ-550.
Kind've high #'s for not hitting stretch yet View attachment 4713558View attachment 4713559View attachment 4713560View attachment 4713561View attachment 4713562View attachment 4713563View attachment 4713564View attachment 4713565View attachment 4713566but ill keep a weeving. Not everything here has a dimmer.
there are now different par meters for different type of lights? stop being a comedian plz

Everything appears to be going well. Better then I expected being my second time on Jacks (my mix's).
The way I know they're doing really well w/o having to read to much into it is by the Co2 levels. I had to increase the gauge from 1.5 to a lil over 2 & still not hitting 1200.. Haven't cracked 800 this whole time (maybe last night after dialing it up) & the majority has been 550 ppm until recently. Might be that time to finally buy a senser.
High Co2 levels during lights out shows they are thriving as well.
Really impressed with every plant & light in here rn.

May need to drop a 4k shop-light below both the BrideZillas. There is some lower branching I refuse to take off that has some major potential. Was actually thinking of dropping a SunCloak Vertical divider between them on both sides. But its already overkill, using 650w on each of these competing plants. 730w when the UVA is on on the Bar-6. Bean running the uva for about 8 hours a day. Including an HLG, UVA bar between the 96's as well as between the Pro-4's on a timer. The Bar-6 demo, UVA does not have the ability to be put on a timer yet. The finalized version will have an outlet on that channel to plug in a timer like the SE-450 Has for its UVB bulb.
Ranges from 275w directly above a plant to 650w directly above. Yet the whole garden is recieving 800-1200 OooohMoles. Works for me!

-Bar-8 = 450w each plant for a total of = 900w over the 7' x 5'8" area +100w side light 24k strips = 1000w
-CMH = 630w a plant for a
Total of = 1260w over the 7' x 5'8" area containing 2 plants.
-x2, Pro-4's = 550w over a plant.
-x2, 320, 96, Elites = 640w over a plant.
-Diablo=650w (I think, have not put on the watto-meter yet) over a plant.
-Bar-6=650w, 730w when UVA is on (again, need to use watto-meter to know exactly) over a plant.
-6 Bars of Amare Bar Prototype + x1, XB-140 = 800w over x2 Fuel Bomb plants & 1/2 of a Sundae Banana Cookies plant.
-x1, Pro-4 = 275w over 1.5 , SBC plants, middle isle.
No supplemental yet but am thinking about it in places. If so, all SBS's will remain dead even.

At lights out?
Yeah, or more. Lights on i haven't gotten it up to 1200 ppm yet though. Cranking the Gauge up. They must be just breathing it so fast. Checked for a leak outside the room at the can & there's nothing wrong. Just big healthy plants.
Glad you found your way here. Was going to @ you the other day. Hope all is well.

Everything is doing well. The Sundae Banana Cookies is showing some early leaf degradation but was always lighter color then the others since flip. Almost like she's hungry for higher ppm's. She is under 275w of cobs/monos. Kinda close, but not really. I feel if these cobs were diffused this would not be happening. Next run is the diffusion SBS's. I really am looking forward to that one.
Some of the plants appear to need a light dimming on their lights & i feel its diffusion related. Some leaves are yellowing or getting pale rather, up top, wearever there is HO, leds hitting the canopy. As usual, the highest oohhmole locations are yellowing. Not The Bar-8 yet though, nor the CMH. I think that speaks towards diffusion & spectrum right there.
I'll be giving the second de-fo & further loli-polling sucker branches tonight.
Getting more stretch from the Bar-6 then the Diablo. Slightly bigger leaves as well but that may just be due to needing to defoliate the Diablo plant a lil more, leaving more small leaves. The Hlg plants i first thought might be getting cheesed by being on end caps but now im seeing that it is actually allowing more surrounding light in because the Amare plants are crunched next to others, blocking the light from those lower side branches. Still pretty even parameters i think, at least to see any growth trait differences.
Just some room shots from a few days ago 20201031_163339.jpg20201031_163518.jpg20201031_163652.jpg20201031_163709.jpg20201031_163805.jpg20201031_163824.jpg20201031_164050.jpg20201031_164249.jpg20201031_164308.jpg20201031_164417.jpg

So I upped that gauge higher then ever have. 2.25 & still am not breaking 980. Oh boy, maybe this de-fo tonight will help. Wondering if I should go for the 3 to achieve the 1250-1500 n have to re-up a tank before the end or just run 900 using the normal x3 tanks n ill run short around wk 7. Any thoughts?

SBS shots.
Have to do full images in order to write about each one as I go. Maybe I can get a mod to shrink them but still be better then thumbnails. Sorry if it takes a minute to load for some.

They got a Tribus & tea feed at low ppms, a full strength then a half strength to get the run off down a little. That may have done it. Will address it. Tough under leds running full power sometimes but did not want to dim. Start high & grow into the lights is how I do it.

Began lolipooping the Flarfy areas and skinny branches that didn't quite make it last night. Also working on the second De-Fo. Very leafy in there & although the room can read 55-62% it still feels like a swamp when you stick your arm in the canopies. Added some fans too.

Welp, upped my ppms to 1400 & top-dressed with ewc. The light green Sun.Ban.Cookies got nice n green as well as some others. The Bar-6 & Diablo have been on 1/2 power for about a week now after those plants getting pale upper leaves from high density, undiffussed light or maybe I should be growing at 500ppfd? Nope. So I'm trying to get them back to handling HO light. 20201108_192515.jpg20201108_192523.jpg20201108_192531.jpg20201108_192546.jpg20201108_192738.jpg20201108_192831.jpg20201108_192839.jpg20201108_192853.jpg20201108_192917.jpg20201108_192928.jpg Bar-8 & CMH are pretty darn close.
96 Elites vs Pro-4's are showing different growth traits. Pro-4's are bushier & inherent noded, surprisingly.
Bar-6 has caused more stretch then the Diablo. I notice the buds ontop of the plant recieving HO from the Diablo are no bigger then the ones down bottom that still have dark green leaves. Maybe same for the Bar-6 but not as much big undergrowth to judge.
Firmly believe diffusion would solve this problem, allowing the whole plant to be engulfed in light rather then beaming down hard.

Sick bro!
Thank you! They're really booming now. Ran outta co2 two days ago I guess n checked last night. With the room sealed they actually had it down to 51 ppm. 1 hour after lights on.. They must've literally been suffocating. All good now.

It's looking good, but I'd like to see this experiment run a second time with a single clone strain, so that we could know that the growth differences had everything to do with light, and not so much with genetics.

On a side note, as a QB96 user myself, I think that the HLG elite 360 would be a far superior fixture if they were to use 3 boards instead of two, while making the whole unit 6-inches wider, but still run by the same driver for the same wattage.

That's how I did it. Each sbs has equal plants cloned from the same mom/keeper. I'm seeing the differences big time & will attempt to go over them the best I can shortly. Still cleaning up the bottoms & hanging branches with ties that didn't make the trellis on the short plants.
I agree with you on the 96's but I don't think its necessary for covering there intended space.
Any questions I can answer?
Unless you meant mono-crooping the SBS's?
I wish I could. Gotta keep that variety though. Also wish I could use dividers but that would be an air flow nightmare. Especially now I eliminated the center walk isle.
But its working out as intended. Will get lab results as well from top buds that were not crossed by another light.
