hlg 550 grow room

so if i wanted like 3-4 weeks of veg?? how many? need help on that plz and what thechnique could be viable, scrog? prunning?

Each strain is going to stretch after you flip to flower, some more and some less. Generally you should expect a plant to at least double in size after you flip to flowering.
If you don't want to veg long you use more plants.
With 4 lights you won't be able to quite cover the whole room with enough light to flower so figure on flowering a smaller area of 8 x 8 feet (your room is about 10 x 10 feet)
So in that 8 x 8 area you could run 4 plants that area really big in 10 gallon pots with 6 - 8 week veg or you could run 100 small plants with minimal veg (depends on strain). You have to decide what works for you. A good medium would be 16 x 3 to 5 gallon pots and 3-4 weeks of veg from clone, add a couple if from seed. All my numbers are from clone.

The 550's have a footprint of 6x6 in veg, and 4.5x4.5 in flower. Have had good luck with them.

Good to see you chime in bro, I had thought about tagging you. Can you share how many plants you run per light, pot size and your veg time since you grow from seed?
thanks man that was the help i need. i could add an extra ligth also the room is little bigger but the exact area of grow is 10x10(room 11x12). i have kosher kush and chocolope, recommendations on which to use on any of those/?
im growing for seeds too
yo you have some average yield?? with those lamps, first grow with leds and i bougth 11 of it

No prob!... we start with ~110 seedlings, and as we veg, we will kick out the runts, if any. We have 18 HLG's and 3 rows of flood trays. We will usually end up with 30 per tray (90 total), and veg for 8 weeks. We use 7 gallon pots from GrowersHouse. This is our first run with the trays, but the rows are the same space, it's just going to be more handy. Avg yield has been ~110-130 grams dried and cured, and 1.86 lbs wet to processors on our last run. Hope this info helps, and i'd be glad to help out with any more questions about the HLG's, cuz I aint got nothing but good things to say about them! @Fabo420, you can check out our grows on FB at Compound HQ LLC (I guess I can do that??, If not admin can delete.)

Thanks!.. those numbers are per plant. So, we finished the last run with 83 plants, and 153 wet lbs total. 1.86 lbs of ready to process material per plant. If you want to talk about per light, dry bud made 493 grams per light, or about 8.3 lbs wet per light.
how many grams you lose on drying?? average, thanks man

3764.8 - 493 = 3271.8 grams
3271.8 / 3764.8 = 86.9%

also my hps runs bout 12 c cooler then my mates 4 leds he runs its costs me about 15 dollars more to run a hps then a leds also i pull about 300 more grams then he does also i have space in my grow room not crammed with leds going wow look how great leds are

I have yielded equivalent per square foot using CXM-22 COB setup at about 37.5 watts per sqft. You seem to spend a lot of time telling people your negative opinion of LED lighting, meanwhile there are growers out there doing really well with LED. I think that once you learn how to apply the technology properly you can pull the weight and have the quality. Perhaps you are just a better grower than your buddy, or maybe he doesn't know how to grow under LED.

12 c cooler? i find this very hard to believe.
Im running 960w of led and 315w of cmh currently and am still only hitting the temps ( 86-87) my 600w air cooled HPS was putting out.
Noway in hell are you running 12c cooler of equivalent wattage of hps/led.
Not sure why im responding to this tho, as we both know you just hate LED and love HPS to the point it blinds your posting judgement
