Hey guys been having difficulties with my girls and tent temps. Unfortunately live in a really hot place. One solution I have is trying a window ac but not sure hoa will be cool with that. Another thought i had was running quantum boards. Currently in a 2x4x5 tent my hps light makes it wayyy too hot in there getting temps of 86 and higher managed to lower it to 75 but it keeps crawling up. Thinking of getting a mars hydro ts1000 or something similar until i found someone selling an HLG 100 V2 in 400k used for a bit less than a new ts1000 was thinking of getting two of those instead at about the same price for the ts1000 new? Thanks for the advice guys!

Yeah those lights might lower your temps a little and led grows like slightly higher temps anyways

Thank you just wondering if the whole 4000k light temperature matters as much as I think it does? Thats the only thing keeping me from pulling the trigger on the two used lights. Wanting to use them all throughout flower and veg.

Do they have reds in too? If not you could just add some far and deep red

4000k is a good veg light and “ can “ flower ... SF 1000/2000/4000 are popular choices now too.

Ebay listings are often from resellers getting them from Alibaba.com..... which “ usually “ can be had for less money ( depending on shipping ) .

Just do your homework Before spending money.

My advice would be to drop the cash on a split system ac sized for your room. I have 3.5Kw cooling capacity ac and it uses 860w. Keep this in mind, even the electrician that installed it thought that meant it used 3500w lol. Mine holds the ground against two dehu's and about 1800 watts of lighting.

4000k is not a good option for flowering. Also 100w isn't going to grow much.

240 watts of top-tier diodes will do the job.
Plenty of forms to use-strips, panels or cobs
I find that 3500k works well for full cycle. It's also possible to supplement some 660's and FR if you want.
