Even your cat looks low budget

Though I'm a native born Socal, I can teach you to speak like a Bronx goombah fairly quickly
I did know a Bronx babe in Europe we traveled for a time

she taught me very bad English

...like I wanna dink of Worrter

yeah I learnt the wrong English ..

typical she lied and I found out later she was French

so now I know why I'm always taking for a Frenchie

and now have a serious distrust of Hairy women ...lol

Thanks to Hollywood

is the Socal accent the most popular accent in the US ..?

many say it has a few Spanish lip moves..?

hasta la-vista for now?
I believe it used to be when I was a kid(1950's) before LA/SoCal developed thier own "culture" (surf, valleygirl, etc) because it wasn't really an accent and so movies, TV newscasters, etc adopted that "accent" as standard American speak because it was neutral. Over the years it may well be distinguishable now, and many Spanish words/idioms/phrases are incorporated into day-to-day speech

Socal has several different accents, to name just a few, Valley Girl, Surfer, Compton and East LA.
