always has and always will, we will never learn from our past until the civilization is destroyed itself for its ignorance

The problem is the people within the system who promoted democracy and allowed our system to become democratic, and taught people that we are a democracy and that democracy is the best system

The United States of America (also called the United States, the States, the U.S., the USA, and America) is a federal constitutional republic
It is "supposed " to be a federal constitutional republic, in actuality it is a Corporation.

I know that, they have a major influence on the people that were voted into office
Not just that- they have power, and they are not voted into office by the people-
When is the last time you voted for who will run the Fed or head the CIA or FBI, when did you last vote on who should be a supreme court judge or become a general??

so, beardo, what would have instead? kings?

good luck finding a good one :)

course...with good people, we could have anarchy and it would never matter.
How about we use the Constitution and stick to it? We can have three branches of government

what i mean is that the some<<<keyword positions are put there by the people that we the people voted for.

i didnt say every government position is voted for by the people

Every president after FDR has lied about shit,
"After FDR?" Do you actually believe that starting with FDR and moving backwards in time president's never lied to the people?

Robert Stinnettfound the smoking gun which Pearl Harbor writers such as Edward Beach (Scapegoats) and John Toland (Infamy) could only guess at: 1) official records of intercepted Japanese transmissions which prove that FDR knew of the attack on Pearl Harbor, and 2) internal Navy documents showing that Pearl Harbor was the hoped-for result of a program of harassment designed to provoke Japan into an attack.

Yep, Ole' FDR was the last of the honest presidents. Without any advance warning to man their battle stations or head to safety only about 2,000 Americans died at Pearl Harbor. And of course FDR was aghast by the dastardly unprovoked sneak attack that no one knew about in advance.
