Hilltop.so's Attempt at Indoor

Hey Everyone,
I've been growing outdoor for some years now and decided I'd try the indoor thing out. More or less so that I have a place to start my outdoor babies early and a bit of a hobby thing.

Setup so far:

VIVOSUN Horticulture 48"x48"x80" Grow Tent
400w M/H, 600w M/H, 600w HPS
Air Cooled Hood
Maximum Horticulture premium 6" High Efficency Centrifugal Inline Duct Booster Fan
Comfort Zone CZ6C - 6" Clip-On Fan
AcuRite 00613 Indoor Humidity Monitor

Should have my hands on some clones and seeds shortly. In the meanwhile, I took clones from my outdoors which were just starting to flower. I've been told both you can and you can't clone from flowering plants, I decided to experiment. About a week ago I took lower cuttings from my outdoor Jager, CinX, and Yoda OG. Bought a propagator and the clonex root gel and solution.

I wanted to see first hand how the diameter of the cutting and size/amount of leaves effected success rate. I've had them under the 400w mh 24-0 for about a week and a half now. Spraying with Clonex solution every 3 days, and misting with water a couple times a day.

Temp has been around 91 degrees 18% humidity during the day, dropping to 65 degrees at night. I'm setup in the garage so the extreme summer temps we've been having keep day temp high. Temps will be dropping in the next few weeks so will be easier to control.

After about a week and a half in the tent, the cuttings with very small leaves shriveled and died. Cuttings with medium to large leaves doing good. Just starting to yellow on around the edges, assuming energy is being consumed for root growth. No showing of roots yet.

Once the clones start showing roots, will be transplanting 9-12 to 5 gallon buckets filled with Fox Farm Ocean Forest blend. I'm undecided on which nutes I'll be using. Have always had good success with outdoor using a supplemented FF line-up, but open to suggestion.

These pics were taken about a week and a half ago.
