HillSide Grow 2020

This is my second Grow outdoor ;

Last year things went ok but I learned a lot as well;
I’m going to change a couple things to better the outcome . Want to just be better than last year ;

Will LST earlier on and plant less plants ;

But bigger plants with bigger yields ;

Dig holes 2-3’ wide by about 16-18” deep

Mixed in 2 cubic feet of MG into native soil and will plant in those holes around mid May to early June depending on weather ;

Starting seeds last week of March ;

Caturra Kush
Blue dream
Gorilla cookies

Will update as grow goes along!

Let’s All have a good Grow this year!

Feedback welcome :

Dig bigger holes. My medical holes are 6x6, and as deep as i can break through rocks, 16-20+ inches.
Figure out your watering system. How it works, the set up and impact on your movement thru the garden.

The reason for big holes in the ground is that the roots only go as far as the hole is dug, which roughly double that is its height.
Old growers called July and August the doldrums cause the plant reached the edge of the hole and quits growing. If that happens get your soil fork or shovel and break up the soil a few feet away from the drip line and fertilize and water. No need dig just crack the soil, "crackin' the hole".
