What i think you mean to say is that they've just discovered that some ancient civilization had created a prediction that the world would end a long time from when they were living, and it has been estimated to be the year 2012. yes? i don't know, iddn't watch the show.

yup. there was a thread here about it a few months ago. but the thread was just about the myan calander... but the show was about predictions from all over the world for the last 5000 years people have been predicting 2012 to be the end of the world... pretty weird...
merlin even described people using cell phones and shit... weird

too many thoughts that none of them come to mind.

Except for one "eyed jack".

There was this one time when my friend came over my house and we got so stoned that it was way too amazing and we were just laughing really hard and I jump on the bed lay down and picked up a seed with my finger and it looked like an eye on my finger and I looked at her and said "one eyed jack!!'' and we just went crazy that night.

check out nostradamus if you like that kinda stuff.
nostradamus predicted thousands upon thousands of things.
so ofcourse with enough speculation you will be able to find links between what he said and what has since happened.

and also, when a star dies it doesnt always explode and turn into a supernova. or just burn out into a shell.
the energy has to go somewhere. because if you have read anything about the science of it, you will remember "true energy does not die, and is forever".
this can cause the star to become more dense, and alternatively become a neutron star.
the explosion has also thought to been a viable concept for the creation of a black hole, yet this theory has never been proven.

and another thing to think about when you are stoned is the possibility of white holes.
(ie; the opposite of a black hole, instead of creating an immensly strong vaccuum in space that even light cant escape, it forces light and other matter out, at an incredible force, to strong for any advancement of technology we have to measure.)
but, thats just an idea.

i like this one
An infinite number of monkeys using an infinite number of typewriters for an infinite amount of time will eventually run out of combinations and have to rewrite shakespear. true story.

no. not just a sentace or two.
think about it.
they would rewrite every piece of literature of written, and they would write so much that has never been written.

its the whole infinate thing that makes it all true.
because all it would take is time.
being infinate monkeys all typing, for all of time and longer.
they would come up with enough different combinations that it would have to happen.

... hmm... I guess eventualy they would... but I saw it on TV and they had monkeys actualy type some shAkspear on a typewriter... but it was only 2 sentances... but I guess with infinite amount of time... a whole story would come out... ... but I could write shakespear too?

it takes 11 minutes ... not 1 year so if the son died we would see it 11 minutes afterwards :D then death would come ^^

what bout where did god come from ? and who made him :D ? im not christian... im nothing... peace out

yea but only like a sentance or 2...
As InkEye said, if it was for an infinite amount of time and an infinite number of monkeys they would eventually, by default, have to rewrite shakespear, at least in broken parts.

What if white holes are are the exits and black holes are the entrances for interdemensional travel.

that is a theory out there. hasn't been proven yet, but personally i don't think we should be looking so far out in the universe yet.

it's like a child with...well, anything. they may be amazed at how it works, but you don't just let them run willy-nilly with anything they want to. you try to make sure they don't hurt themselves, or possible accidentally kill someone or themselves. we're like that child in the universe, and we totally don't understand enough to be running around like that.

I cede, that is why we are exploring, but sometimes i think we're in too much of a hurry to get it done, and are missing a lot...

people miss things that are reasonably close to us in space, pluto was discovered in 1929 or something, but it was only realised that pluto has a moon in 1978, so why are we looking so deep into space for things that are of almost no influence to us when our own star system, indeed our own oceans, havent even been properly explored or observed yet? its a bit beyond me but i guess its still interesting stuff.
i love to go outside on a summer night after a few bong hits and ponder the mysterys of the universe, like where the fuck did the universe actually come from? is there an edge that we could get to? where are the other civilizations? all sorts of shit

the theory of white holes becoming some type of interstella gate way for multi-dimensional travel couldnt be. due to the fact of the pure vacuum force of a black hole, everything will be crushed beyond any measurement we have, not even light can escape a black hole. so how fast and strong would the shit come out of the white hole?
not to mention that how would we know shit is coming out?
it would be so small that as far as us humans are concerned, it wouldnt exist.
although, light cannot be compacted, due to it isnt a mass, its an energy form that doesnt take a mass.
so maybe it would just be like a star that can only bee seen from the output dimension and angle of it?

and chazz, In summer, I get ripped and go stare at the stars and think the same things.
sometimes I wish there was someway of recording the thought process in your brain.
cause I swear, some of the shit you will think up while you are out there. MIND BLOWING!
lol, thats something to think about.

All people ask questions in life, maybe finding the best answers or indeed finding thoes times in life where all the answers make you content is what life is about.
I was talking to an upset friend just now and that seemed to help, don't know if it's the weed talking but it makes me feel better.

"i love to go outside on a summer night after a few bong hits and ponder the mysterys of the universe, like where the fuck did the universe actually come from? is there an edge that we could get to?"

perhaps a nice restaurant and the end of the universe? with a cool show and pan-galactic gargle blasters?

The Universe has no edge or center. If you want some strange stuff look up anti-matter, or Schrodinger's cat.
