High temps, now what?

So this is my first “summer indoor” grow and they’re cooked. They’ve been 12/12 for about 6wks and temps have been consistently around 100f give or take. I don’t wanna get into the logistics of the set up and how to fix it because at this point it’s just too late. They’re f’ing huge they’re all up in the lights (shed height is 2.3m), I’ve snapped and tied here there n everywhere it’s just a hot mess in there so they’re coming out no option. Vegged outside since clone for probs 10-11 months so I know they’ll get a shock but they know the sun.

Anyway the question is. Is it even worth continuing with them? They didn’t start showing white hairs til 3.5wks after flip and at 6wks they still just have little white fluffy balls. Not a trich to be seen, at all, and absolutely no smell whatsoever. AND now these little white “tufts” are starting to change colour like they’re coming to maturity part of the flowering cycle - but there’s nothing fucking there!! SO, what can honestly come of them once I put them outside to finish?? They’re big and it’s taking an added risk to put them out so I don’t wanna do it for no reason, I’d prefer to cut my losses.

Anyway, any advice/experience at all would be appreciated I’m just at a loss as to what to do with them now.

This is a few weeks ago just for an idea. Not the best aspect02B06CE6-F9B9-4281-A8B1-9A09F6764DBD.jpeg 1DDF3E8E-5F26-4556-8D8B-6681717287E8.jpeg

Wtf?
Vegged to 11 or 12 months?
Or weeks?

Without details about your setup it's hard to know why there's so little production after 6 weeks. But I would guess that it's because of light leaks.... ??? Or inconsistent lighting scedule...

You have the option to put them outside? If you have lots of room why not do that and stake them horizontal to keep them low profile? It will take up a lot of space. Don't like the idea of getting nothing for the time you've invested. Sure its going to be poor on a gram per square foot perspective but I think once in normal conditions and not drinking so much they could resume progress.
They look like week 2-3 despite the time scale so they could grow more and fill out. Just been delayed with shock and N overload.
The fact they look as healthy as they do considering the circumstances is a testament to either you or your soil.

If the white tufts are changing color like they're at the end of flowering, I would suspect that they may have hermied due to heat stress and self-pollinated. Take a close look for bananas.

No I meant months. And I’ve already said why they’re not developing. ITS TOO HOT in the room that’s all there is to it. Every symptom they have displayed is because the room is just too hot.

Thank you. Yes I agree I’m not comfortable with getting nothing in return for the amount of time and effort I’ve put into them but if I indeed need to cut my losses I will as that would save me wasting even more on them. But yes I do have the option to take them out and that’s all I can really do at this point. Without aircon (which was the original plan but never eventuated) they simply cannot stay in there.
So ok I’m gonna take them out today and cross my fingers these girls start to come to the party!!

Ok I’ll have a look and post some pics of how they are now when I get back home

If its flowering season where you are and you have enough months of decent weather coming up then I would put them out.

I would put them in a mostly shaded area for a few days to ensure they are hardened off properly.

The fact that they are huge is a good thing imo.

No one can say exactly how well you will do but I assure you it will be better than nothing.

Good luck

Funny thing... from the pics they dont appear to be too stressed from the heat.
They actually look pretty good.

But wtf would anyone veg for 11 of 12 months? Were they moms at one point?

Even if the crop isnt up to snuff it will make good hash.

But if you have a few good months of season left weatherwise and your in flowering season I think they will pleasantly surprise you.

I have done the extra long veg thing as an experiment and found there is a point of diminishing returns.

At least you know now.

2 to 3 months max for me
That allows my veg and flower room to flow several times per year

What I like to do is let my veg and flower room run uninterrupted and when outdoor season is coming I use my shed and some t5 type lighting to get some vegging plants started for outdoor. Veg plants love that lighting and its dirt cheap and not hot

It might sound odd but Risk wouldn't even factor in because even a perfect 20lb crop isn't worth it Imo

I would still do it though. Vlol

I think the important thing here is to not get an ulcer.
You sometimes have to make a decision, which it sounds like you have and just accept it.
I know its hard not to stress though

They may look happy and healthy but each day I walk in there there’s leaves all over the ground and crunchy ones hanging ready to drop. They’re def not happy girls they’re stressed af.

And for some reason I always end up vegging for ages, I get caught up watching them grow so big and beautiful and then I’m like uh oh they’re too big now. Oh well is what it is. I’ll just be devoed if I actuslly end up with nothing because I’ve put so much into them over such a long time, I’d just prefer to end it now and start again.

So I’ve just looked for “bananas” and am not quite sure what I’m looking for? Would they be on the stem or in the bud itself?

You have been procrastinating. haha.
Put em outside or throw them away. Pick one and just do it and then don't question yourself- its done.

Summer where you are would be near impossible to grow in a shed. I thought you put AC in?
