Yes high nitrogen durring flowering can cause problems, the largest being a serious delay in finish time & resin maturation.

Why do you ask ? Are you slamming high nitrogen at your girls while they are flowering.

I do heavy grow nute feedings the first 3 weeks and up the bloom by steps while downing the grow, in fact if they still look pail (which they usually do) I continue to supplement some N, until I have the green I want along with the pre buds already showing, no delay. Then I switch to full bloom giving the plant a strong sing it's time to put it all into flowers. N is widely needed at the transition stage and the first week of flowering, that'd be around 3 weeks from flip. In my experience it's save practice and good for the plants, I love my healthy green canopy and having great lower leaves so the plants can suck all the juice up when it's time to finish or just need a boost.
